★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They tried to treat you friendly but they didn’t know how to work with efficiency. And they will keep persuading you to order more... we’re there and waited for more than 40mins without and apology. If you’ve time can waste on this then come.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrid experience - one of the pushiest restaurant behaviour I've encountered actually. They are very pushy and did not give us a menu but instead took their time to clear the table which had dishes and bones from its previous occupants - while focusing on selling their lime juice mix and durian coffee powder (I politely mentioned I'm unable to take coffee right now to deter them, but they remained undeterred, repeatedly pushing their products).
The male boss even came over and insisted that their durian coffee powder was one of the best in Penang - something I can't or won't refute, but I wasn't there to purchase tourist-trap items.
It would have been great if we were presented a menu since it is an eatery - I was there for the Bak Kut Teh, haha. I can only wish I was more fluent in Hokkien so I could tell them off.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Bak Kut Teh served here are of quite good quality when compared to most shop in Penang and their braised pork leg are soft, tender and tasty.
However depending on the timing of day you visit this place, be prepared to wait for your table and your food because they take a very long time.
But, unless I am craving for Bak Kut Teh very badly, I wouldn’t bother to walk all the way here just for their food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great selection. But hard to get our request over when asking for bak kut teh without the liver. Ended up taking out everything except for the ribs. Nonetheless lovely service. Great sides.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bat kut teh is good, both dry and soup. However, the waiting time for the food to arrive during lunch time is very long. Be prepared to wait as his chef only comes in in the evening.
