We ordered the thai style pineapple fried rice with prawn which was ok. The spicey seafood soup was good but very spicy. The stir-fried chicken was good. Price is average but taste wise not something I would try again

Nice little Thai place tucked away in a quiet corner of Bangsar Village 1. Both green and red curries are amazing with authentic ingredients and aromatics used (i.e the correct type of Thai eggplants etc). Pad Thai is also flavourful and they don't overcook the shrimp. Everything can be a little on the spicy side (which is great) but do ask if you need to change that as they're very accommodating. As at September 2021, Covid-19 SOPs include temperature screening, checking in, vaccination status checks and then softcopy menus via QR code. Full table service including payment is still offered.

Just coming back from Bangkok and tried thier chicken green curry and today just had at Basil. Taste wise little bit diff since bangkok one more smoother and creamy but at Basil its coarse yet still acceptable. Overall food and service are balance..good and excellent. Located inside Bangsar Village ground floor. Cozy and nice envionment. Overall 3 stars.

Been coming here for years, but recently have been disappointed with the service. Tried to reserve a table but was told it can't be done over the phone. To book for iftar, or a 7.30pm dinner, I was told I must be there in person at 6pm and pray they have a table and then order early so they can serve at 7.30pm. I have decided to dine elsewhere and will never come back.

Sadly the portions have become smaller, taste and price consistent. Felt like the fish cake had more flour then actual fish.

Loved the Tom Yum, it's flavorful with the right amount of heat. Since our family of 4 was split up, my son and I ordered Grilled beef salad, Thai fish cakes and Tom Yum soup with rice. Enjoyed this simple combo as it was awhile since we've had a meal in Basil. Hubby sat on another table ordered or favourite Steam Thai Fish, Otak Otak and had stir fry rice with elder son. The steam fish seem a bit lacking somehow in oomph factor, but maybe because we didn't eat it straight from the dish since we were not sitting together. Nevertheless, the meal satisfied our craving for Thai food without having to travel farther afield ?

Back to my favorite Thai place. We used to eat here for dinner mostly after work. That was before Covid19 pandemic. Located at Bangsar Village I at Ground Floor. Recommended if you love tomyam. Reasonable price. Good ambience. Friendly staff. Ample parking. Easy access.

Loved the food here, especially its red tom yam noodles. My favourite. I did not have it in the recent visit though as I was treating a fellow colleague on her last day at work. We had rice, steamed sea bass in lime sauce, ayam pandan, seafood tom yam, glass noodles salad, salted fish kailan and drinks. All were yumms! Recommended place to go.
