Bukit Mertajam Hospital

I am here at the eyes specialist 10.35am on 26 Jul 21 in BM hospital. All this time I am very satisfied with the service of the staffs n doctors. That is why u all deserved 5 stars. But I would like to share today minor disrespectful n rude doctor at counter S2 and counter 9 staff. When we r not clear and ask for direction n help both are reluctant to assist and showing their black face n continue playing with his phone especially the doctor At counter S2.. Still playing on the phone ?

Already soft talk but all staff, nurse, doctor so rude no respect to patient. Camni ke kerja government?

My nightmare started here, I have look for parking almost 2 hours the security more to helping hospital staff in parking matter. The BM hospital head need to look in to this matters very seriously if not your entire organisation are faill!!! Actually you guys faill already shame on you all...if you guys can't take care simple car park how you going to take care the patient?

Doctor asked to come for my mum’s details. Her range is between 2 pm to 4 pm. We reached there around 3.30 pm because we live in Sungai Petani and got bad traffic. Reach there already but got stucked since there were schools located before we can reach there. Told the doctor already we were already in front of SMK Jit Sin which is only 1.8 km but our estimated time arrival is around 15 to 20 minutes late because of the bad traffic but she cancelled the appointment abruptly just because a senior doctor is coming. And we tried to talk into her and she refused. I hope she will get the same treatment she gave people. This might sound harsh but if your mum is admitted to hoapital because she cough of blood and she is a cancer patient in the midst of that, dont you feel like you want to know the condition as well and when it was cancelled just when you were already there, Im sure you will be furious as well.

My grandpa got admitted into Hospital Bukit Mertajam for hypotension requiring inotrope. Dr Najihah and her team of dedicated Sister and Nurses in ward 10 looked after my grandpa till recovery. Stellar work performance by Team Bukit Mertajam ?

27th May 2022 would be the worst experience in this hospital..our dad was admitted here due to his high blood sugar & diagnosed with heart problem..we were told ,our dad lost consciousness at 6.30pm on 26th May,rush out from work & reach here at 7pm..couldn't get to the ward due to curfew of visiting hours,which is understandable..but,a nurse give is permission to get upstairs as she knows what is going on..he is in bad shape.. We went home afterwards as an Indian guard told us to wait by turns,surely we understand to limit amount of person at the ward..we went home left with our mom waiting there..at 12.15 am,27th May, mom called in said dad's breathing is getting slow,rushed again to hospital..mom told us ,hospital already did 3 times CPR to dad,can you imagine that,how poor his condition is ?..we reached guard,Indian guard,again denied the access to get all the family members to the floor,we went by turns,it is so frustated as we are unable to get all family to be with him on his very last moments..even,when he passed away at 1.02 am,the guards still does not allowed our family to come upstairs..i hate to say this,but have some mercy to people,we are not coming to hospital at the very night to make chaos ,we are meeting our beloved one on the last moment..he is not even a Covid patient ? Kudos to the doctors who had been helping my dad a lot,the nurses as well,he is in the right hand now.. To the security guards ,i am still frustated on your heartless attitude & can not even communicate with wards personnel on the situation forl the least but still, thanks for doing your job. In the near future,pls communicate with the wards's doctor or nurses on patient situation to get family members reach for last moment of a patient,last respect for the patient at least..you can' t imagine if this happened to your own family..i know a procedure is a procedure but the rules are man made ,pls have some emphaty..

Went for Kempen Derma Darah organised by PBSM Daerah SPT at Auditorium BM Hospital. Went there early so get free parking inside. Well organized.

Would not recommend this hospital to anyone. BAD SERVICE , RUDE STAFF , Eveything is Worst here, Panel clinic give memo to go hospital but here the staff never read that memo also and start to shouting..Than for what have goverment hospital...The staff asking why come hospital at night just for a fever and the body temparature was 38.1. The said if fever do covid test our ownself.The doctor said its not emergency case than why u cm now. People here suffering with body pain and the doctor said its all normal for fever. Even the clinic doctor said its suspect dengue but the doctor in hospital said we cant suspect degue in 3days fever.. May she will suspect after the patient die...Coming for medicine the hospital doctor asking me what are the medicine given by clinic doctor, and i was said panadol and last she also giving pcm. Can i know what are the different between this two tablets actually..I was thinking why should i cm to this hospital just gor this .somemore the treatment way by shouting...out from the hospital with tears.
