Well serve omakase and it’s par level to taka. Once again over price restaurant for omakase compare with others restaurant which others provide wine and sake pairing for every course.

I don't think there will be second visit. This is a restaurant which both servers and chef don't understand what "pescatarian" means. Upon reservation, we clearly told them one of the guests was pescatarian. They further confirmed via WhatsApp: no red meat. On that day (Feb 15), both of us were served foie gras. We highlighted this to the chef right there but he responded without any apology and said something along the line of "Oh, but my staff told me no red meat only?". Speechless to hear such response. It's very dissapointing. First of all, he doesn't understand what "pescatarian" means. Secondly, he obviously doesn't know what red meat family includes too which is extremely ridiculous. And of course, most importantly, zero apology. To be fair, they served delicious food and the way it's presented was beautiful too. However, it's boring because they tasted quite similar from the beginning till the end and I would say the types of seafood used were quite limited unlike others. Maybe the chef thinks Malaysians like salmon? But we definitely didn't expect a high end restaurant to serve so much salmon.

Excellent omakase sushi in terms of quality. The service was also very good. The interior is very well done. However, the mall where this is located is pretty obscure. No one comes here, so it was not a good atmosphere (though this is probably better for privacy). If you like graveyards, come to this mall. With that being said, Jiro too does not have that great a location, but it’s still got 3 Michelin stars. Location alone does not warrant the three stars out of five that I’m giving this restaurant but when you factor in the price of the omakase, 3 stars is the best I can give as a measure of value-for-money. We paid a total of RM1,200 per head. Sure, we had the additional RM280 per head for the A5 Wagyu, but this would usually come as part of the Omakase at most other high-end sushi spots. I’ve traveled the world and have eaten at 3 Michelin star spots many times before. Cost is not an issue, but there needs to be a cut-off point for what you can reasonably charge for a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. This is among the most expensive restaurants I’ve ever been to. And though everything served was nice, it CANNOT cost RM1,200 per head. Not without some expensive Sake to go along with the meal. As comparison, omakase at Hinata would be around RM600 per head total. And I guess in terms of sushi quality, you can’t really tell the difference, but I think they serve you more pieces at Hinata. So you leave with your stomach absolutely full and 600 ringgit well-spent. To be honest, I was still a bit hungry after I got back. So portions need to be increased more in line with the price that I am paying.

First of all, the food was good and service by the waiting staff was excellent. But when it comes to price point its too pricey for the Portion you get, I've been to many fine dining omakase restaurants which is slightly better pricing/same pricing and the amount of sushi given was more in terms of sushi size and portion than what this restaurant can provide and hey i understand quality comes with a price but others have quality and also quantity. And asking customers to upgrade items on their omakase is such a turn off (hard selling) . ** additional, chefs are talented .

Went for their β€œcontaminated” Omakase. That was what they called their experience menu. Overly priced sub-par food. Chefs with Extremely strong taste profile here. With 2 sittings per dinner you get the feeling they are just trying to rush you through ur dinner as quick as possible. They always offer extra β€œupgrades” at additional costs and will keep asking you to upgrade despite telling them no. Alcohol is only sold by bottles. Makes you feel like water fish. Left the place disappointed at the food and feeling like they only care and target your wallet. Truly disappointing...

Ordered the premium omakase and was truly disappointed with the value of the serving. There are add-on that they will push you to add to the already expensive pricing. For menu was simple and nothing to shout about. Appetiser was simple Japanese vegetables, sushi was ordinary and nothing impressive. For the price I paid, it's not worth it. The place is nice and I must say the service is excellent, that's the only plus point here. Will not go there again
