β β β β β Very smooth process. They admit people in batches according to yr appoinment time which is checked even before u enter. Hp must b switched off. Remember to bring passport and IC and supporting documents.

β β β β β Waiting time for visa interview is more to get ur que number. Interview quite fast 1-2min. Roughly will take 1hour 40min from the queuing time until to settle the interview session. Make sure bring correct photo size, quite stringent on the format.

DONT bring laptop or large electronics(other than phone)
5 star service, I didn't need to wait at all you just show them your appointment paper and they'll take you to the front of the line, the staff was very friendly and helpful(outside police) and the inside staff was great too, explained everything very carefully and helped me feel relaxed. 4/5
1 star off because couldn't call them and ask questions phone wasn't working

β β β β β The 2 ladies at the embassy was very understanding,patient and friendly during my 4year old passport renewal.
We had a small talks and it put my mind at ease as this is the first time i had to do the process alone without my husb presence plus dealing with a talkative child during the appointment.
Took 11days for me to receive the notification to pick up the new passport.Very fast indeed!

β β β β β Just went for my B1/2 visa interview. Arrive just slightly before my appointment time, get your ID badge, go through security. Get your number and then you wait. I had about an hour wait to pass 30 queue numbers. Quite fast. Interview itself lasted about 3-5 minutes only. Very efficient! Itβs been awhile since Iβve been here. Canβt wait to go back to US.

β β β β β Went in at 9.30am, out at 10am with Visa approved! It was really fast. Not so crowded today. Only needed a passport, IC and a photo. The guards at the gate will also look at your appointment letter to see the time of your appointment. Was asked questions like - purpose of travel, with who and what do I do in Malaysia. Very good first time experience.

β β β β β When you think of embassy, you will dread about how to get there and where to park if you should drive. Parking available at Menara See Hoy Chan. We parked at Regal House after enjoying brunch at If Only. The parking is free.
Next, walk to the embassy. You may reach early and go in earlier. I reached on time and to my horror everyone was already in there queueing. You showed a copy of your appointment to the police officer and they will show you the way. Surrender your key and handphone with myKad or driving licence to the officer. The officers were all friendly & helpful.
Go into the embassy with your documents only. Walking past a little garden, climb up the stairs then turn left. Walk in there go to the right most counter to get your number after giving in your passport & get your biometrics done. Then you shall wait at the visitor lounge. You can find water dispenser and toilet there. Bring a book or magazines just in case.
I waited 1.5 hours to be interviewed. 31 people ahead of me. My appointment time was 1030am, and the interview was barely 2 minutes then I was out at 12noon. The lady interviewer was friendly and straight to the point. I prepared all my documents but she didn't even need to look at them ?
Thank you for approving my Visa application. Can't wait to visit US ??
