★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite interesting new bakery shop opened here and at the same times, another outlet of this bakery opened in SS15 too. What special about this bakery? It got more options on the Swiss roll sizes and variety, egg tarts ( few of the flavours rarely seen in other bakery) Now, they having special price - Rm$9.90 for 6 pcs...taste no bad. I like their white mochi, coconuts and mocha egg tart...a bit special flavour but the macha colour is too dark ( look weird, shldn't be lighter colour)
Here, they sell maybe, their in house coffee. ( haven't try yet, might be soon). Price very reasonable too.

I tried the black forest swiss roll and pandan chiffon. Both taste not bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a new bakery shop. Bought the first banana cake, the outer design and overall information looks very confident. All bakeries are comfortable and decent. Wow, a lot of varieties and with coffee served if you are coffee lover. Seems like the owner is very determined to make a successful career and compete with same row bakery shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will preface and say that i will make edits in a while as i have yet to try to buns that I've bought.
I was there yesterday about 9pm. Some shelves were empty by then, which is fine as it was almost closing time. It looks pleasant and has fresh coffee options (not sure of quality as i did not try).
Variety seems fair and pricing of cakes and breads seem decent (again, don't know of taste and quality for these).
The cashier was a tiny tiny bit slow (perhaps still getting familiar with the cashier systems) and the assistant don't seem to be able to do anything while the cashier is held up by others customers (why is she there then? Not blaming her but what is her duty besides bagging and ONLY WHEN the cashier is engaging that particular customer?). They were polite though.
However, i will say that this place is the bane to eco-conscious people as everything was pre-wrapped in single-use plastic bags or boxes. Very few selections were not already in plastic bags. *(TK bakery and i think RT bakery has the same issues as well, fyi)
Edit: The breads are pretty decent for the ones I've tried. 2/3 gets a 'Good' rating. The 3rd one was fair but it was called a "pizza" but doesn't have any quality of a pizza. If it was just called hot dog bread or something, then it would be under the 'good' category.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible service. We went in at 1pm, 30th April.
We r regular customers of RT pastry and for a change we wanted to support this new business, spent almost 50RM and this is what we get.
Lady at the counter was very curt in her reply when asked a question. When paying, she dumped all the cakes and bread into one plastic bag. The baguettes were unable to fit in. We asked for a extra plastic bag, she replied rudely to pay extra.
Maybe she needs to go back home, ask her parents to teach her manners before coming out to work.
No point spending on renovation and physical outlook when you can’t even provide service like RT pastry. What a disappointment. Better go next door to RT pastry. Don’t waste ur money in this shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought this cake 2nd time. 1st time it was good. 2nd time, the ingredients change a lot, the cake being replace with normal cake, without pandan and gula melaka while the price remain same. What a disappointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Compared to RT Pastry, Fantaxy Bakery pastries tend to be sweeter. I’ve been here to a few times and bought their Swiss rolls, cheese pudding and cream puffs before. Needless to say, it is 3/5 for me but still tastes good nonetheless. However, most of their items are definitely catered more to people who have a sweet tooth while RT Pastry is towards people who prefers less sweet. In addition, their service should be improved. The workers there are so-so and barely have any smiles on their face. Not saying that the workers should smile everyday but their aura tend to give out a judging vibe.
