Dining environment is modern and nice. However the food provided were least to our prediction. Had the Teppanyaki, Sizzling Chicken Rice, Toast and Cham. The Teppanyaki were overly cooked and Toast were cold. Understand it’s hard to do F&B but it’s obvious that food were not prepared to standard. This for me might be the least favorite place to dine in in-mall as for now. Would be great to see improvements soon.

Worst foodcourt claypot chicken rice . Not recommended. Chicken is white and not cook in braised sauce. The sos they pour on rice is just salry soy sos (not the usual braised sos) chicken is almost 95'% bones Hello 2022 already. Dont fool the consumer la. Pls look at nu sentral or klcc food fourt

The Food Republic that I used to visit had dropped so much in terms of quality, feels more like a downgrade than an Upgrade. Not sure what Happened to Pepper Lunch? Perhaps the franchising license or Contract has overdue & management refused to extend to cut budget. "Iron Pepper Rice" - RM18 for beef & RM22 for Beef AND chicken, but the portion is shockingly the same, Of course consumer assume receiving more by paying more. Overall it was terrible experience, I rather travel to KL to taste the Real PepperLunch (tm)

The black pepper chicken chop was good. The chicken was good, the gravy was ok. Mashed potatoes was nice buttery taste. It's good on its own without the need for gravy. Good choice of broccoli for vegetables. Portion of good. It's filling. I'd recommend this.

19/03 Had my lunch at iron pepper lunch, my mistake it's not #pepperlunch like what #foodrepublic used to have before pandemic close down (upgrade) and this place upgrade to FOOD DISTRICT with #pepperlunch copy? As you can see, on the first picture, you can count how many pieces of meat or salmon (order meat rice and salmon), paid for rm20+? For this? Nasi dah lah nasi kerak, sayur plak tak sampai sejemput. And they literally letak serbuk pepper Penuh atas nasi. The rice is soo dry already, adding pepper powder make it taste worse. Disappointed, rasa nak nangis. 2nd picture you can see that we only eat meat and salmon pieces plus satu sudu sekali makan sayur jagung. It's terrible.

New food court replacing the food Republic. Glad to see they retain the chicken rice , pepper hot plat rice, tepanyaki and some noodle stalls. Something new compare to predecessor: Japanese Bento, café serving western food and snacks, and yew yew café that serves coffee, and waffle that looks and taste like Belgium Street waffle. I wasn't hungry due to the heavy lunch, so opted for mushroom soup, chicken bratwurst snack and waffle. Need to come back and try other food

After waiting for this new food court to open, I'm very disappointed with the price and quality of the food. I had the Claypot Noodles with Mushroom Chicken, and was probably one of the worst I've tried. Around me, 2 other tables also ordered the same thing and didn't even finish half of it. Goes to show how terrible the food is. My other half ordered Chicken Teppanyaki, RM17.90, and just average only...nothing to shout about. Honestly, you can come and try cause its still new. But if you are looking for good food, this is not the place. They really need to improve A LOT here. Otherwise, it will be like the previous food court thY closed. Take note many foreigners cooking here. One Utama, you need to really buck up on your tenants la, it's not about money ya.

I chose CHICKEN RICE! ? at Food district, and was extremely happy about my decision Priced at around RM9, you get to choose from steamed, roasted or barbecue chicken. The chicken was not the only highlight of the dish here! This comes with a fried onion and chilli oil along with the generous amount soy sauce / dressing. The clear soup was a really light and simple broth, yet so flavourful. Probably the best chicken clear soups I have had with a chicken rice. It even had bits of radish. The chilli sauce was so fresh, pungent and spicy, just what the rice and chicken needed as a condiment. Sadly the braised tofu was sold out but the bean sprouts with soy sauce for RM3.50 made up for it! Cost for 1 - RM10 approximately (vegetables / sides will cost you extra) Waiting time - 2 mins Will I go again? YES
