Bad shopping experience at this branch. I’m go in want to looking a gifting, most of staff grouping and chitchatting at the selling floor, no one approach me until I’m go for looking their assist. Once I’m proceed to the cashier counter payment, 2 staff are arguing in front of me and ignore me!(Hello I’m your customers, please respect to your customers) If I’m not urgent to get it, I’m wouldn’t purchase at here, this will be my last time purchase at here.

Dear Harvey Norman Southkey Management, I'd like to compliment one of your employees, Mr Kar Hao (employee code : 804072) for the excellent service he provided us throughout the after sales process. We make an online purchase of a rice cooker, unfortunately it cannot function after using two times. As we both stationing oversea, due to the unforeseen pandemic, our old parent are not able to bring the product down to store for exchange. Mr Kar Hao put in the effort to make the necessary arrangement, helped us to arrange Ninja Van for collection. Though we never meet each other, but we can feel his willingness to help us throughout the whole process. Not only that, upon packing the faulty rice cooker, my old parent forget to put the rice spoon back to the box, also some plastic and it’s base were gone. Mr Kar Hao informed us about this, as we are fully aware that 1 to 1 exchange suppose to return the product with all original packaging. We are truly apologise for all the inconvenience caused and appreciate his kind actions by allowed us to proceed with the exchange instead of repair. Is that kind of flexibility, understanding, excellent customer service that wow us!!! We’d like to purchase more from Mr Kar Hao (employee code 804072)! His professionalism and ability to get to the bottom of the situation quickly exceeded our expectations, which we are truly appreciate it!! Such a commitment to great customer service is to be commended. You can be sure that I will continue to shop with Harvey Norman, Mr Kar Hao for years to come. Sincerely, Jamie

A one stop shop for home improvement. Not very comprehensive like what they have in Australia. Still, it's a lot less headache to go to several different shops to shop of you are not looking for fancy or designer. Some generic item prices more expensive. But a good place to start if you are renovating your home.

Newly opened electronic and furniture shop with lots of promotion at the moment. Very packed on a Sunday. They have various programs like balloons for kids and etc.

Ordered a Logitech wireless keyboard from Harvey Norman and it was the worst shopping experience I have ever come across. They delivered the product 2 weeks late, and item arrived in a very poor and damaged condition. To my surprise, the product has actually been used and opened before with the safety seal tampered with. Online order states the item was picked up from the Mid Valley Southkey outlet. Never thought I'd receive a poor conditioned second-hand item from Harvey Norman.

No staff at Panasonic ladies equipment area, had to wait for almost half an hour until the lady cashier came to help, so kind of her although she was not in charged, kudos to her. Then she provided me with another lady staff who was rude, rushing to leave me when i was still asking about the items, then key in wrong price in the invoice, i had to wait again for that ? and she kind of raised her voice when i ask to repeat something i couldnt hear when she said it the first time ?

Today my day was spoilt by a RUDE, LAZY "snake" sales girl at this brunch! Her name is YUZLINA!!! I certainly hope Harvey Norman fire this kind of salesgirl. She was sarcastic to me upon my requests. I bought TWO air purifier, AND SHE refused to show me how to use...saying all instructions inside ???. When I insisted her to show me she just reluctantly showed me which I don't even understand. AFTER I PAID ...SHE DISAPPEARED!! So I looked for the manager Prem, lucky he was very nice and helpful. Showed me everything patiently. He deserved a raise in pay. And to whom may it concern, PLEASE SACK YUZLINA!!!! For goodness sake!!

I never had any problems buying electrical items from HN. Bedding too. But this low rating is specifically for their furniture department. Ordered a sofa on 16/1/22, with estimated delivery 29/3/22. About four days after we ordered, I received a call saying that the color we want is unavailable. Ridiculous, right? Because when we placed the order and paid the deposit, we were told that everything was in order. Shouldn’t they check the availability before taking the order?? I almost lose my mind but still keep calm and choose the next available color. Then came the promised date. The sales assistant named Azwan was supposed to update us on the confirmed delivery date but only do so after I chased him few times. He then said the manager told him delivery will be on Apr 7. Yup, blame it all on the manager ?. Then from Apr 7 became Apr 9, then 12 and finally he said 16th. And the sales person, whenever I ask for an update, his answer is either the manager on leave, on evening duty or got covid and have to wfh or just blame the supplier. If he did his job right in the first place & follow up closely with the supplier, this would’ve never happened. So I finally received my sofa. Delivery was smooth because they are the same guy who delivered my order previously. Very nice and punctual. But came another problem. The sofa was incomplete. It came without the legs. So we have to wait another week for the legs to come. And when it finally arrived, we have to install it ourselves. Very very bad service by Harvey Norman. And we spot a defect on the fabric too during installation. Anyway, This will be my last purchase from HN furniture department. They lost my trust and my respect. ??????????
