★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my second time being up here, this round I was here for a night stay and I can say the experience was a pleasant one. Penang Hill is not like those overdeveloped hilltop tourist site like Cameron Highlands. Will definitely come back again one day.

*There was a bad arrangement at the beginning before the actual date but still managed to cover it with another incharge person.*
Spacious kitchen and well-ready with different kind of kitchenware that we needs for our BBQ night
Good WiFi coverage. Chilling weather after a long day of rain.
There're few air bed wasn't pump completely and it slowly leaked out entirely throughout the night. 1 of our tent did not come with blanket as well after the night only notice.
Overall just nice with the rating given

They love it so much that they don’t want to go back and plan when is our next trip when we are going down the hill ? what fascinated me the most is the washroom, very clean!!! And their kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Friendly and helpful caretaker, Asadhu. Detailed and caring staff, Christina. Thanks to both of you that making my stay so relaxing ?? Will definitely go again soon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place to stay. The boutique room is spacious and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The surrounding has a lot of colourful and beautiful flowers, and there is a nice viewing spot just outside the house.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bungalow is charming and beautifully decorated. It's also clean. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the top station, of which 10 minutes are jungle hiking trails. Do bring appropriate footwear.
Before deciding to book a night's stay, I liaised with Ken via WhatsApp. He has been extremely helpful and patient before, during and after my booking. As I was visiting with my elderly parents, I enquired if there was an alternative transport to the Hillside Retreat instead of by foot from the top station. Ken suggested the jeep service which turned out to be satisfactory and convenient for us.
Coffee and tea are not provided. So, it might be helpful for you to bring your own supplies. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay and we would recommend this place to family and friends.

The tents are attractive.Good experience for kids and the rooms also cater for seniors.
Please respond quickly to problems like no water supply which really trouble us especially the senior citizens. Credit given to the friendly and helpful "resident manager" Bangladesh caretaker for traveling few trips to send us mineral water

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in the bungalow type. Very suitable for big family and friends gathering. The place is clean and cozy. Easy to access also. A little suggestion, if can have more garden light will be perfectly nice (We had steamboat outdoor in dark.) The place also very considered for drinking. They have a wine cellar and you may purchase it at very reasonable price.
