This mesuem is free admission, and closed on Monday. During the SOP, only 12 person at a time for visit, come in with group by group. This meseum is the original home of Dr. Ho Kai Cheong. Quite interesting and despite about the founder Ho Yan Hor. We also serve with different taste of Ho Yan Hor drinks at the end of trip.

Nice experience in Ipoh which is free. But at times can be a long queue so book in advance to avoid disappointment. We got to try different kinds of herbal teas.

A nice little museum with free admission and herbal tea tasting. This is the place where founder of Ho Yan Hor, Ho Kai Cheong started selling this famous brand of herbal tea. It has a good collection of historical items. The guides are super friendly and patiently explain the features of each type of herbal teas. Interestingly, the business of traditional chinese herbal tea is no longer the main business of the company, named Hovid now. Based on the company website, they have started this transformation to western pharmaceutical company since 1980s, under the son of Ho Kai Cheong, David Ho.

The museum used to be Dr Ho Kai Cheong's original home. Admission to the museum is free, although there's a limit for 12 people at a time to visit. The guide was very knowledgeable about Dr Ho Kai Cheong's lifetime. For someone who loves history, it's a great experience learning the origins of the Ho Yan Hor herbal tea brand. At the end of the tour, I was given six different Ho Yan Hor tea samples to try. I bought some herbal tea as a souvenir for myself, my family and my friends. It is recommended to everyone to go here when you travel to Ipoh.

Although there's nothing interactive in this little museum, it's very informative and professionally set-up. Strict adherence to SOP here, so come early to avoid long queues. I saw some people losing patience with the staff, which was unfair as they are just complying with limits of people in the venue. The tea tasting at the end is really a highlight as well, and their gift packages were really good value.

Interesting museum to visit when traveling Ipoh town. The museum shop house is well maintained, very clean. Historical items and information board all placed professionally. The place have limited 12 visitors only at one time, visitors will be allowed to go in by batch/grp, can take some own time slowly read the story of HYH founder. Free admission. Visitors can have 6 different HYH herbal tea at the end of tour. Me and family members enjoy the visit. Thanks to Ms Yuan ? We went around 11am on a Tuesday, there are a grp of 2pax and another grp of 4pax before us, waiting time about 25min. There is a public car park behind the shop house.
