β β β β β Photo is deceiving...it is true here. Ordered set meal that supposed to come with vegetable, but there is none.
Food is of minimal presentation and very bland. Set meal comes with soup (tasteless) and drink of the day, which isn't much. Not really of good value.
A very large and clean restaurant with few customers. That probably communicates the values for money, or the lack of.

β β β β β Visited Honolulu Cafe for the first time in Hong Kong around 7 years ago. Their egg tarts were really good. So it was a pleasant surprise to see them in Malaysia.
Ordered egg tarts, peanut butter toast and yuan yang. Didn't disappoint. Really soft fillings for the egg tarts. A sure must for everyone.
Not sure about the rest of the menu as it seems to be more localised - the menu in Hong Kong was limited and not so extensive.

β β β β β Nice place for a quick bite. Had the ultimate combo of curry fish balls and the HK trio, egg tart, soy tart and polo bun.
The fish balls were tasty, bouncy or q q they say doused in a not too spicy curry, enough to give that curry spice feel.
The egg tart was tasty. If anyone can get it right, it has to be a HK cafe.
Soy tart was something new, similar to a cheese tart but fluffier.
The polo bun with a slice of butter. One word. YUM.
The drinks were somewhat mediocre. Ordered a yingyong but tasted like milk tea to me. Nothing to shout about.
A place worth coming especially for a quick bite or hearty breakfast.

β β β β β I don't understand those other bad reviews but hey. This is perhaps the best Hong Kong cafe food I've ever tried and I've been to Hong Kong for more than 5 times so far I my life
Do yourself a favour, order this claypot eggplant you won't regret if you really didn't like it pm me I'll let you punch me in the face cod style

, so fluffy and with crispy crust,i love it! but they need to improve their main dish, i don't find it tasty. just there for the bun ?

β β β β β Foods was OK but like the rest of the reviewers said, services is very bad. We were half way eating at 9pm, the waiter came and took the sauces (chili, tooth pick and soya sauce) away while we still have 1 more dish to come. PS. While I am writing this at 9.25pm, the waitress came again to take our chili sauce away. And a group of customer walked in and the waiter told them that many has sold out before even seat them in.

β β β β β Love the egg tart, soya bean tart & polo butter bun. Milk tea also not too bad, but lack of the milky taste of HK's Black & White brand milk.
However, other items on the menu do not look that great. Some items are localised food. Some not even origin from HKG. For example, 5 small pieces of curry fish balls cost RM8.80+ with I think is too pricy ?

β β β β β As the picture suggested I only ordered their signature dish which their polo bun and egg tart. The polo bun was really fluffy and crunchy much to my liking. Egg tart was good too. However coffee was so-so. Later found out that reviews for the other food here was kinda below the par. Lucky just came here for some tea breakβ¦not actual meal.
