★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First hotel in Kuala Lumpur at my first visit.
Room is super small.
For a family of three unbearable to stay there together only sleep and then leave.
No room service.
Buffet only. The service in buffet was very unpleasant.
Swimming pool small and not fun at all.
I only enjoyed green tea matcha latte in the coffee shop downstairs.
For the price I paid $50/night
Super pricey.
Wouldn't come back or recommend anyone.

- floor need extra care. It was dusty.

- shower pressure is ONE of the best I ever had.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have chosen ibis as my quarantine hotel.
I am having a last minute booking a day before my flight in London and They did fulfilled my request promptly.
Smooth checked in process.
People have been complaining about the food being cold. In my honest opinion, that’s fine as the kitchen are preparing hundreds or thousands of meal a day. You can’t cook the food upon request as there are so many people to feed at the same time. This is understandable.
Also, rules are clearly stated in the paper given upon check-in.
Paid premium standard room. Good room size for one.
Found some harmless ants but only a few… the hotel should look into this matter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed in Ibis KLCC for a 7-day forced quarantine, which they accommodated and managed to find me a room at the very last minute. That is as far as their “good service” goes. After that, their service is just terrible. On the first day I checked in, I requested for some toiletries to be brought to the room. Their delivery timings were 11am, 4pm, and 9pm. I made a request to the hotel main reception staff before 4pm, around 15 minutes before they start delivering. I waited for quite awhile, and did not manage to receive the toiletries. I call the reception many times, but no one seems to be picking up. When a lady at the reception finally answered, she told me that the toiletries will only be delivered at 9pm as my request was made too late. Fine, I waited till 9pm. Once 9pm arrived, I had to wait for 45 minutes for the toiletries to arrive. I called reception again, and no one answered. The staff there are just terrible, no empathy for their customers and are not efficient AT ALL. Also, the rooms here have quite a few insects as well, especially ants. They have quite a few stains on the walls as well. Overall, just find another hotel for quarantine, please don’t book here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was stay with promotion price with bed, dinner, breakfast. When I book in advance I was requested for queen bed but while check in the unfriendly staff said only have twin need to wait don’t know how long for the room. Last I went for dinner the food mostly Malay cuisine but the hotel claim it’s Asian cuisine. The taste of food are tasteless. Most of food not hot and I never expected the foreigner waiter giving service like in mamAk shop. I really feel not worth for the price we are paying. All the good review was given by the own staff of the hotel. I won’t recommend this hotel to any one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed in Ibis for my 7 days quarantine (Standard package). The overall stay is good. The hotel room is clean and look the same as advertised in the website. The meals taste decent and have a good variety throughout the week. I found a few harmless ants in my room and saw many people have mentioned this as well.
However, the reception is very unreliable and you will have to call in a few times for a request. The reception didn’t pass my contact to the driver that was supposed to pick me up from the airport. And, I ended up waiting a long time and have to call in multiple times to the hotel to request the contact info to be sent over. I found a few harmless ants in my room but that didn’t really bother me much.

The pool was so good too but pm2.5 killed the landscape too.
But the thief is around there.
Only 5 minutes from hotel to the street.
We lost one bag for motorbike thief.
No one of staff told us about thief.
It’s not night but in afternoon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room is tiny. Only suitable for a trip need overnight stay. While I quarantine in this hotel definitely not a wise choice.
I found some dirt on mattress. Looks like didn't clean it and changed the mattress cover. On the toilet's floor were some hairs. It seen like never sweep the floor.
At last, talk about the food. After the check in and submit documents needed for quarantine. I had had mention I need vegetarian meals. Unfortunate, the very first lunch were not vegetarian meal. Later received the call the receptionist and confirm about the meals. They did change the meal for me though. Plain white rice with one vegetable dish. Can't complain anymore. Not everyday provided fruits. In 5 days will get 2 apples, without peel and slice. I strongly suggest that fruits need to provide everyday, if possible every meal even better. I can see that the quality of vegetarian meal were improve everyday. Positive sign. Attach the photo with all meals for your references. Hopefully it will help with those need to be quarantine.
