★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Years ago when i have this in IKEA Damansara the beefball is great with its scent, and flavor. Assuming they might have the same quality in Cheras branch so i ordered the beefball again. To my anti-climatic discovery it was "Meh". Only the sauce have a decent enough flavor. The beefball is almost flavorless and smaller as if it has not enough time to absorb the flavor. Not your most appetizing meal ever. And due to this Covid19 rules, the queue becomes ridiculously long just to dine in there. People crowding when ordering while some took their sweet time touching the food around. The chefs are always in a hurry pushing out plates of meal that the quality dropped significantly. I'd advise only go there when its weekdays when there is enough time for the chef to cook the food properly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn’t mind the long queue, but the place was overall very dirty and disorganised. Tables were not cleaned, chairs were sticky, and food could be found even in the sink! There was also insufficient cutleries, and some customer (us included) had to use disposable ones. The food was average, and genuinely felt like it was made from frozen/canned food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of all, the surau is now relocated at ground level, which is not so inconvenience I guess.
Oh well, meatball is a must for my visit. Never dissapoint me. And the kitchen staff always helpful everytime I asked for extra gravy.
I love the almond crepe and the cheese cake too. The choc rolls are also nice.
Minus 1 point because the lasagna wasn't up to my expectation. It was soggy with little meat inside. And the salmon always sold out. We arrived at 12, on Wednesday and yet we've told that the salmon are all gone.
But yeah, just come here. U will love the meatballs. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meatballs nice. Chicken was raw but got a new plate. Cake very dry. Disappointing were the drinks...really no sugar at all.

Meatball plus jam is good combination and addictive.
try their spring rolls too, good but a bit pricey. its rm1 per spring roll. beverages are refillable.
Side note: after done enjoying meatballs, please cleanup own table, put all the plates in the trolley back and send to the trolley alley.

Easily to located within the premise, big and contrast restaurant that have 2 entrance. The surau there has been relocated at ground floor. IKEA Restaurant has a long que despite its weekdays or weekend. To me IKEA is just and okay place to lunch, but not for the taste, but just for the feelings after you shopping or take stroll around ikea and mytown.

IKEA Cheras is a self serving restaurant where you choose your food at counter and clean the table back and put the tray where it belongs, famous with their meatballs served with mashed potatoes, but they also have various of other menu such as chicken wing, steak, vegeballs, mushroom soup, vege salad, lamb shank, curry puff, cakes and even kuey teow and rice.

Pricing here are relative, some are fairly price with the quality, and some are just expensive for a taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The queue it's incredibly long, the food it's in good condition. They pack in tupperware for you to take away. The food it's average, but quite addictive to eat once awhile.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Queue is long due to Covid. Need to come early in order to get table. Taste wise, the quality is no way near when they first arrived in Malaysia. The meatballs are bland. The sour sauce for chicken wings taste weird. Not sure what they want to achieve. Price range is Medium to High
Will I come again. Maybe in 3-4 years time perhaps.
