β β β β β Managed to have my maid's passport renewal done without hiccup. The entire process took about 2 hour. Please take note of the following :
1) Must secure an online appointment through Embassy website. No walk in allowed during pandemic.
2) Only maid alone is allowed entry into Embassy on appointment day. Majikan can park and wait in the next door parking area.
3) Need to arrive and present 1 hour before the appointment slot.
4) Documents required - online appointment print out copy, original passport, photocopies of passport photo & permit pages, Majikan NRIC photocopy, copy of Insurans Peribadi ( POS MAID INSURANCE e-SCHEDULE ) from any Pejabat Pos which cost Rm76.80.
5) Upon completion of renewal process, Majikan can collect the new passport in a designated Pejabat Pos around 1 week. Embassy will ask maid which Pejabat Pos within Klang Valley Majikan likes to do the collection of new passport.
6) The process fee of passport renewal is Rm100.

β β β β β First time here, quite efficient, given if you are well prepared.
Applying for a student visa, here are all you need:
β’ The Approval letter from the Directorate General of Immigration (Telex)
β’ Fill the white/yellow form.
β’ The original passport and the copy (the signature page must be copied). For non Malaysian passport holders, the applicants must copy Malaysian Visa and latest Malaysian Entry Stamp.
β’ The passport must have at least 2 blank pages left for the use of visa sticker and stamps.
β’ 2 Photograph (any background color, passport size photo)
β’ Visa Fee : RM.205 (For 30 days) / RM.431 (up to 1 years)
β’ Telex Fee: RM.31 (Only for Calling Visa Countries)
You may check out more on their website, they offer online booking system now, I reached around 845am, and leave at 915am.
I take only 5minutes in front of the counter.
Come early, even before 9am, scan you booking number to get your queing code.
Photostat outside the embassy cost me only RM1

β β β β β I was very fortunate to have Mastura handle my passport renewal bcs Iβm a banana & she saw that I was struggling with Indonesian and quickly switched to English for me ? Thank you so much, Mastura!
Besides that, the passport renewal process is pretty straightforward. Some things to remember:
1. Book appt online beforehand.
2. Remember to double-mask when you go for your appt. If you donβt double-mask, the guard will ask you to buy another mask outside before you can enter.
3. Bring a photocopy of your passport biodata page and visa page plus RM100 cash (if you lost or damaged your passport though, youβll need more $$$). Write down your Indonesian and Malaysian addresses and phone number on the photocopy.
The whole process took less than an hour for me.

β β β β β Must come base on appointment, must wear double mask, and make photocopy of your documents..without any of those, they won't let u in/proceed your matter. No more long queue like before, everything go so fast. Great job!!

β β β β β Renewed passport 2 weeks ago, got a receipt stating that the passport will be ready for collection at the Post Office. Went to the assigned post office and waited 2 hours in queue to be told that they have yet to receive anything. Travelled all the way to the embassy and was told to wait as passport is processed in Jakarta. Still no idea of when I can expect to receive it. I'll be travelling overseas by the end of the week. What a service.
