Kudos to Dr Chan Jan Bond. A friendly and caring person. He explained well and answered the questions clearly. I was very confident to proceed for my cataract surgery with Dr Chan after listening to his explanation. Thank you Dr Chan for your good job, my 2 opts on 26/11 and 3/12 all went smoothly throughout the surgery.  It only take around 10 minutes to complete the surgery. I am so happy with the results and speedy recovery. I can see very clearly now without spectacles?? Highly recommended Dr Chan Jan Bond if you have eyes problem and I will recommend to my family and friends too. Also thank you to all the friendly staff.

Specially thanks to Dr Chan Jan Bond, the ophthalmologist who performed this IOL implantation surgery ❤️ :- "I am an 81-year-old lady with vision issues that worsened lately. My son brought me to an optometrist who said an auto reflector couldn't penetrate some parts of my eyes. He referred me to a Dr Chan Jan Bond at International Specialist Eye Centre. My son accompanied me there and the staff was very nice to us. Elias at the counter was very patient with us and gave us very clear directions. We went to a room to examine my eyes for retinal acuity. I learned that I had cataract in both my eyes and proceeded to meet technician Hazel. She was very friendly and explained everything in layman's terms, so both my son and I understood quite well what she was performing using various machines - to scan biometry, topography, etc. Dr Chan confirmed that I indeed have cataract in both eyes and laid out the available options. I told him that I wish my eyesight could return to what I cherished throughout my youthful days, so he recommended a Zeiss trifocal to me. I then went to the counselling room where I was informed about the do's and don'ts post-operation. I was relieved that the surgery on my left eye was done in under 15 minutes since I entered the operation theatre. The doctor knew his way around my anxiety, and I didn't experience any pain too. After that, my son went to collect medication while I rested on a very comfortable reclining chair. Then, a sweet and humble nurse Mimi checked my blood pressure and then taught me how to use the various medications with great patience. I tend to be forgetful, so it was great that she explained it to my son too. On the way home, I could start to see buildings again. This was around 2 hours after the surgery... on the same day. Actually, while chatting with her, I learned that she prioritised my experience so much that she was holding it in and hasn't eaten either. While I wish she hadn’t done that, I appreciated her dedication towards customer experience. The next day, we went there again for my second operation. Right eye this time. I'm very impressed with the consistent pleasant experience once again. I'm not familiar with these things at all but everyone was patient and helped me understand very well. On the way home, I could finally read licence plates and those tiny words on Chinese newspapers. I haven't been able to do these for a few months already so you could imagine my joy. I'm grateful that my son took time to care for my wellbeing during these hard times and also the staff who restored my eyesight. Based on my experience with them so far, I'm convinced my follow-up check-up will be just as pleasant."

I highly recommend Dr Chan Jan Bond. I brought my mother to do cataract surgery with Dr. Chan. My mother's vision is quite bad when I bring her to see Dr Chan. But now after doing cataract surgery with Dr. Chan, her vision is super clear and bright. I am very grateful to Dr. Chan. He is very professional and talented as well. He did an excellent job. A big thank you to Dr Wong Jun Shyan at ISEC Mid Valley as I am finally free of spectacles and contact lenses!!! I have been considering LASIK surgery for years and made many enquiries at different places but never felt completely comfortable enough to go through with it. Dr Wong was recommended by a medical friend and he immediately gave me the confidence to proceed with the surgery in December 2021. The procedure was completely painless and I was comfortable throughout. It only took 5 minutes and I had 20-20 vision the next day which was amazing! I have looked and consulted several ophthalmologists before I done the retinal detachment surgery at ISEC. It was a right decision I have ever made. Dr.Ho Whye Onn is a godsend. There's no doubt that he is a very patient person who genuinely cares about his patients. He always takes the time to explain things to me in terms that I can understand. Been contemplating lasik for many years, and after talking to Dr Chan Jan Bond, I was surprised to learn that it was not as scary as I thought it would be. As promised, the procedure was painless, quick, and almost seamless. I was able to see clearly after a 6 hour rest, and within a week I was cleared by Dr Chan. My father was recently operated by Dr Chan Jan Bond. From what I gather, it was pleasant experience throughout. The booking and appointment process were straightforward and stress free. Dr Chan was accommodating with appointment and surgical time to liase with my parents travel plan. He was friendly, professional and thorough. After decades of wearing glasses and also approaching 60, the inevitable has arrived...Cataract. Since I did not wish for it to get worse, I decided to get it sorted out early. Friends and also my insurance agent recommended ISEC to me. ISEC has many ophthalmologists and after browsing through the doctors and reviews, I decided on Dr Chan Jan Bond. My first appointment, check up and scan was very thorough. Dr Chan with his pleasant personality, explained thoroughly about the cataract surgery, procedures and also my other vision issues which derived from wearing high powered lenses for years. He recommended monofocal lenses for both my eyes which will enable me to see far. However, I will need reading glasses for near vision which to me is a minor inconvenience. The first surgery for my left eye was completed in less than 15 minutes inclusive of the operating theater procedures. The second right eye was done 5 days later. Also approximately 15 minutes. It was painless with very minor irritation and I was able to see partially after 4 to 5 hours. Almost 80% by the next day. Just like any surgery, there are certain nervousness and apprehension especially when I was awake and conscious throughout the surgery but Dr Chan was very professional and his words were very calming and reassuring during the procedure. "OK. All done. The surgery went well"...was his final reassuring words to me before he left the operating theater. The staff and nurses of ISEC were also very professional, courteous and friendly. I will accord them with a deserving 5 star rating. To summarize, I will definitely recommend ISEC and Dr Chan Jan Bond for anyone looking for a reputable and reliable eye specialist. In addition to that, a big plus is that my medical insurance covered 90% of the cost including the follow up charges. To end my review, a big thank you to Dr Chan, his nurses and ISEC for their good work.
