★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When in need of a hearty meal after 4pm, my go-to meal is this congee and steamed chicken combination at Pudu. One of the best chicken meat with sesame oil I've ever tasted and the congee is to my liking as well -- entirely melted, without its wheat form with a thick texture. Yummmmmmmz. Beware that there are other stalls there serving other sorts of food with their own tables. If you do not intend to order their food, it's best to stick to the congee stall's tables ✌️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the same combination of porridge, poached chicken and fish sashimi over at another popular porridge street cart nearby my hotel. The food here was equally good as well. Porridge has a good consistency, chicken wasnt too tough. But i felt that low yau kee has the slightliest advantage over here. Neverthless, still a decent place for porridge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are many varieties of porridge; fish slice ?, lean pork slices and century egg, minced pork, pork innards with deep fried intestines, and chicken porridge.
Most tables will order an add-on item which is steam chicken. Please note they don’t have kampung chicken.
Prices are reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waiting for a table can be harrowing and long, especially after 6pm
Porridge served piping hot.
Steamed chicken just average.
Porridge and congee was too watery for me after half the bowl.
However, the fried intestines were excellent, with just the right bite and crunch.
We tried all the 4 combinations of congee.
Only the above stands out.
Overall, the food here is rather average.
Prices are not exactly good value neither.
