β β β β β We booked this "Resort" because of the location for the boat to Palau Redang Island (10 minutes by car) and the pictures of the rooms in Agoda. The staff was nice but they didn't speak English, French or Spanish. Unfortunately the room we got was not nice or confortable and we payed 140 MYR (30 Euro) no breakfast.

β β β β β It's a nice resort, just beside the beach, the beach is beautiful. The rooms is clean, toilet is very clean too. Bed is very comfortable, overall is a good resort. The only things to make complain is the room size, but with just RM90, is consider great for me.

β β β β β Not recommended:
We made our booking for the family room. The hotel staff reached back after a few days and said our room was no longer available and we were forced to be cramped in a small room for 3. With the size of the room, it honestly should only be a room for two.
Besides that:
1) Overpriced rooms;
2) Very small rooms with high price because of jacuzzi;
3) Dirty grassy water came out when using jacuzzi function thus not even able to use it;
4) Upon arrival, there were no hot water available in the bathroom for a few hours;
5) Despite having ventilation vents, bathroom remains smelly because no windows;
6) There was a power trip on our second night stay with no apologies given. Luckily the electricity was back by the time we return from our dinner;
7) No proper parking area;
8) Polite although confusing receptionist. Was informed for the snorkelling trip that he will bring us to the jetty. On the day of the trip, found out that βbringβ means to drive our own car and that he will lead us the way using his bike;
9) Area of the hotel was not kept clean. Thereβs a rubbish dump opposite of the welcome gate;
10) The balcony area was not swept and was very sandy.
11) No choices for breakfast. Nasi Lemak was served everyday and was told by the staff that other option will only be offered to guests if guests are staying for a number of nights;
12) The staff failed to inform us that room will be only made up if we leave the key at the receptionist;
13) Pictures of boats in booking.com/ other websites are false advertising. The boat we were on during the snorkelling trip are the normal boats offered by any other agencies.

β β β β β I chose double bed and facing the pool view(+ jacuzzi) and the price almost double because of that. So why i gave only one rating?
- rice not well cooked,
- i put the clean water on jacuzi, after switch on the jacuzi becomes extremely cloudy with a lot of dirt. Kalau harga mahal sebab jacuzi kenapa tak betul2 setvis jacuzi?
- the room not even facing the pool, misleading marketing.
Wont come again, definitely discourage people to come here.

β β β β β The host was really good.. Visited them during Ramadhan Month.. The month where the muslims fast before Hari Raya.. They welcomed my family with an open heart and smile on the face..
We being an Indian Family, all our needs and food arrangements was very well taken care off.. Even my son who is 8 years old was handled well by the host during our snoorkeling trip..
Tip Top informations provided for every questions we had and for my surprise, I was informed that the one who actually hosted us was the resort ownerβs son himself.
They made our family trip the most memorable one..
We will definitely return back to Kembara Resort for another Snoorkeling Experience @ Pulau Redang.

β β β β β Overall okay. Worth the price. True to indication on the picture. Good place for family gathering. But the management need to upgrade the service nak irooon jauh ngaat. Kalau hujan sempat basah baju. Interior bersih. Outdoor cm so so sikit.. tapi boleh tahan lagi. Just need a bit of cleaning. Sebab im more to an indoor person i give u 5 stars ???

β β β β β The place is nice but not good enough. The chalet we stay was small and price was little high, so it not worth it ?. But they have a pool for adult and kid that actually little bit nice ?. A good view on beach βΊοΈ and a good breakfast ?.
