This is no zero star option so,,here we go. First of all this place is horrible they didn't even sell the camera there it just for a showcase. Secondly, the shop owner is horribly rude and developing film took week and moreover its expensive whilst other shop isn't.

The owner is extremely rude and uses foul language. I walked into this store from hell one morning, and was rudely greeted with a " WHAT DO YOU WANT??!!" No good morning, no how can I help you. ... Just a foul wake up call from a disgusting PIG. I said I'm looking for a USB thumb drive. Reply: "I ONLY HAVE DA 2 OVER THERE!!!" I go and inspect and the short hideous Chinese man comes over and starts barking "THIS IS THE PRICE, BUT I CAN DISCOUNT IT TO THIS PRICE". Then he goes in a cursing fit, F+++ all the tourists, F+++ing place is so expensive to pay rent...BLAH BLAH. Guess what you foul, rude monkey... your fortune cookie say you no have anymore customers, someone needs to kung poo you some manners.

I send my camera to get fix due to the shutter button always getting stuck and ONLY ask for it to be fix but somehow i got charged for other unnecessary stuff life flash unit changed which i did not ask for? And even after i got my camera back i still encounter the same problem: shutter is stuck again.. and again! Remind you that i have go back and forth to go ‘fix’ my camera for almost 5 times due to my one month warranty :) theres this one time when he called me thru the phone and to talk about the scheduled time i should go back to his store and as plan i did and HE WASNT THERE. i call him and he is super rude and scold me and said “dont confuse me with yourself” because apparently i went o his shop when he is not around and its my fault that he is not around???? When i get there, this other uncle said he just went outside only 5mins before i arrived and said i should wait for him. Mind you that i have a lot of things in to do during that day and he just ‘went outside’ eventho he knew that ive made appointment with him lol. This is where its get interesting, i was obviously mad at that time and the other call suddenly said “oh ive something to do at the back, i have to CLOSED the store for awhile”. Oh my goodness... tell me how you do your business?? I had enough with this two guys. Super rude. I eventually went away for awhile just to see if he open the stores again and yup :) tengah main phone with zero customers! Amazing! in the screenshot, i actually asked one of my friend (hes a professional photographer with years of experience) to call the uncle and try to settle with him and his ego and the uncle apparently really fonds of my friend due to his background as a photographer. Not to mentioned that the uncle badmouthing me saying i speak manglish with and im newbie i dont know what i do with the camera until it got broken lah and all. So my friend kindly asked the uncle to settle this all up with him so it will be easier for both of us since we’ve both get so hot headed and she said NOPE. He asked me to come and meet him and discussed. And i i still not satisfied i can exchange my camera with his one but i need to top up a little AHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA ffs. And he ended up not refund me anything and didnt have the urge to set a new date for us to meet and settle the problem, even until now. TLDR; I GOT SCAMMED so if any of you thinking to go to this place, read again from the top. Ive been hesitating to write this review but it gets me every time when i think of it. So i just saved you some bad experience in your life. You’re welcome. Oh and one more thing, the way they handle things right, the gonna call you instead of reply to your messages but dont be fooled by the way it. Have a good day!

Horrible! Don't ever come here! In years of traveling today I've met the rudest shop owner ever! He didn't want me to check out the item I was interested in ( camera bag) that was hanging on the wall, he just kept saying if you agree with the price first I'll take it down, when I did and the bag was in my hand he kept pulling it out of my hand preventing me to check it out and he kept saying..stop waisting my time. Horrible, Horrible behaviour. Don't come here. I ended up going to YL Camera store in Jalan Pudu where I found helful friendly stuff, huge selection of items and good prices.

Okay so i see a lot of people complain about the seller’s rude behaviour, imo he’s really nice with me. But what disappoints me was i sent my camera for a shutter jam fix, then he charged me for the fix, fungus lens cleaning and film winder (which the last time i check it was okay) and let me be honest ya, the price is expensive. And my lens still has traces of fungus ???? what did i pay for???? Also it seems my film winder was perfectly fine when he checked that. Then he said the winder cannot rewind.....???? It seems there is dishonesty ongoing here. This shop seems to charge customer for unnecessary stuffs. Also he used the same tactic that he used on other customer (read past review), he told me to come asap to his shop because he wants to close the shop.......i mean just tell you want the 250 bucks right now. Overall experience: In friendliness is okay but not the service. I know my cameras. The shop itself is overpriced and service is so-so. You pay a lot but you dont get the expected outcome. I am so disappointed since it’s a gift for someone, and it’s a waste of time and money to go send for another lens cleaning session. Doesn’t mean that if i am young lady, you can trick and fool me then jack up the price for nonsense stuffs. That’s really unfair.

i got scammed by the owner!!! first of all, my friend and i went there last week to get a disposable camera from this shop. as i was asking for his suggestions on the camera, he suggested to get the kodak m35 which was priced RM198. At first, i had a feeling that he was scamming us so i went online to check the price of the camera itself, when he saw us looking up the camera online, he instantly scolded us and said “there is no reason for u to look it up and compare” with that being said, we bought the camera at the price of RM198. After I was done using the films, i sent it to a shop in Publika to get it developed. I asked the owner on what the actual price on the camera would be, and it turns out the camera is selling at just RM80-100. So guys, if you’re wondering to get a camera here please, DO NOT. The uncle may look old and cute, but he is VERY RUDE and will take all of your money.

??Not sure shld I rate higher or not? After seeing so many people complaining about shop owner uncle's rude behivours. Maybe, they're grumpy old uncles but you can tell, they already long-times professional in this business. Remembered I bought my first Minolta camera last 20 yrs ago and they are still here - selling and repair cameras. Over a year pandemic, many cameras in the shop on sales. Unluckily I'm not professional photographer, all I interested to buy maybe instax 9 for my girls? If you can speak Cantonese with them, they be more friendly and can negotiate too. Typical China man. ?

Brought a vintage Olympus Pen EES-2 from Uncle Chee with RM100 discount given! Not sure why so many bad reviews for this shop, but my experience was fantastic. The Uncle is very knowledgeable and passionate about photography, taught me some history of film photography and guide me to use my first film camera. Definitely would return for more vintage pieces. My 50 years camera is in great working condition!!
