Clean and well ventilated neigbourhood kopitiam. The prawn noodles is very good, do try it, go for soup. Duck egg char koey teow also good, but long long wait. Kopi peng and cham also taste great. Weekends morning got crowd.

It's "that one" in Cantonese. This place has evolved a little since we've been here after CNY 2019. Notable are the duck egg CKT, ginger wine Yee mee, pork pepper soup amongst the usual kopitiam fanfare. Tea leans slightly towards latte (milky) than HK or Hainanese style milk tea so let them know your preference. It's rating is one less for the stuffiness (humid) but otherwise the variety of food sold here is great.

Newly setup kopitiam with wide variety of food such as :- a) Wonton noodle/char siew/dry curry chicken/braised mushroom chicken feet @ RM6.50 - mee is cooked very well. very q and the char siew is nice too. First time having wonton dry noodle served in a bowl and offer 4pcs of decently sized wontons. b) Pork pepper stomach soup/pork noodle @ RM8/6.5 (previously from Hoi Sum Kopitiam OUG) - nice but could be more pepperish. c) Fish head noodle/fish paste/seafood noodle/ma yao fish head noodle @ RM10/12.50 (ma yao fish head) d) Curry Mee/Fish ball noodle @ RM7/6 - fish paste is springy. nice! e) Ah Boy duck egg char koay teow @ RM7 - moderate.lacked wok hei f) Pork chop fried rice/western food stall @ RM8.90 - Very flavorful and nice! g) Claypot mee with ginger wine/la la noodle/claypot loh shee fun/wat tan yee mee @ RM8/10/8/8 - serving is rather generous (12 kepah) and tastes pretty good too. h) Penang prawn noodle/loh mee @ RM6.5 - pretty decent i) Chicken rice/char siew/siew yoke @ RM7.50 - smooth and juicy chicken (temporary closed) j) Nasi lemak/mee siam @ RM3.5/3 - mee siam portion is so pathetic. a piece of hardly noticeable dried tofu n a dollop of samble @RM3! never again! k) Pan mee @ RM6.50 - pretty good. silky smooth! l) Teochew braised duck @ RM8.50 - not the best but enough to satisfy your craving. the price includes a hard boiled egg. Seafood chu char (evenings only/1730-2200) - ordered :- i) sweet & sour pork @ RM16 - thick batter and tiny meat. taste wise ok. ii) Hot plate tofu @ RM15 - pretty good but portion a little measly iii) Steamed Tilapia Toechew style @ RM36 - broth lacked sourness. Only saltiness. Fish is fresh but a little pricey for the size (ard 600g) iv) Wat Tan Hor @ RM8 - very silky gravy but lacked taste & wok-hei. v) Rice @ RM2/bowl vi) BYO Chinese Tea - hot water @RM4 Conclusion - it was just a passable meal and no wow to make u come back again. Usage of MSG is VERY HEAVY! SO thirsty after the meal! Not exactly cheap and wonder why it's so crowded. Packed after we sat down for 10mins. (6pm) Presentation of food and utensils used are like those of big restaurants. Service is good and all of them are in uniform. Overall was good. Coffee shop is bright, clean and airy. Very comfortable. Owners are from Raub, first time operating a coffee shop, friendly and chatty. (unlike most coffee shop owners who are always having this snobbish black face sitting at counters) Will certainly come back to savor others

Very clean kopitiam environment serving various delicacies. Drinks for Hailam Tea costs around RM 3.10 for large, hot cup and two half boiled eggs for RM 5.00. Prices can be on the expensive side but you get what you paid for in return in terms of the clean environment.
