β β β β β Iβve had relatives who were treated at this hospital years ago and was recommended as one of the good ones. HOWEVER, the hospital doesnβt even deserve a star. My Aunt was admitted as she was diagnose with a non-cancerous tumor in her colon. The doctor, Dr.Raja Badrul Hisham initially scheduled for her operation to be on 26/5/22, Thursday. On the day of the surgery itself, demanded for the full payment of RM60,000 to be paid, if not they will not carry out the surgery. The doctor then postponed it due to another emergency he needed to attend to.
Proceeded with the surgery the following Monday, 30/5/22 at 12-12.30pm. After the surgery, the doctor was overly confident that it was a success and did not even stay back to make sure that my Aunt was doing well and said he would only visit the next day. Hospital is not even well equipped, as they do not have an ECG for every patient and instead, the nurse would only check on the patient every once in awhile. Not sure if the nurses even checked with the doctor on what medications to give to my Aunt. That evening, my parents arrived to the sight of nurses scrambling out of my Auntβs room only to found out she was DEAD.
I dare say that KPJ Damansara is DEFINITELY NOT AN ETHICAL HOSPITAL!!! It was very irresponsible and unprofessional of the doctor to dismiss the patientβs well being/health especially after surgery!!! We paid a huge amount only for my Aunt to lose her life!!! Emotions aside, how can a doctor/medical practitioner risk a personβs life based on their own βconfidentβ assumption!

β β β β β I went to see Dr Imelda since I was 9 weeks pregnant. She was very thorough, informative, very understanding and totally reliable. Boleh buat karangan kalau nak cerita pasal my experience with her because I only have positive things to say. All I can say is SHEβS THE BEST! I already told my husband that I will give him more babies ONLY IF sheβs the one delivering them ?. I already shared my experience with all of my friends and Iβm pretty sure theyβre all hooked ? hereβs a picture of me, my husband, my daughter Sophia and Dr Imelda.

β β β β β A very good smooth experience delivery with KPJ Damansara. This is my second baby but my first baby was at different private hospital.It was my first experience in KPJ Damansara. My gynae is Dr Imelda Balchin which me and my husband really really satisfied with her consultation service and until my delivery day. Even the clinic assistant Aini Afiqah is a very friendly person and always update us on the doctor time. If doc were on emergency, she will update me and give new appointment time to me. So that i will no need to wait too long for the doctor. Plus the Anasthesiology in the labor room, Dr Jude Morgan also very good very friendly. He tried his very best to keep me calm during the delivery day. Not just me, he also calming my husband during that day. The anasthesiology team very great that they managed to find my backbone to half bius me to make sure my husband can be beside me during the operation. (Which my first born in different hospital unable to find my backbone and need to full bius me). A very well good brief and explaination to me and husband in the ward before went into the labor room by Dr Imelda and Dr Jude. Not to forget Dr Musa my baby paed was there in the labor room too to make sure my baby was fine. And until now my baby still follow up with Dr Musa. KUDDOS to all team on my delivery day 9th May 2022 ?????? From my gynae, Dr Imelda and her clinic assistant Aini Afiqah, my anasthesiology Dr Jude Morgan, nurses in labor room, nurses at ward ?????? Me and my husband really appreciate and satisfied with all the services given to us ?????? All the explaination given to us very informativeand very well explained! Thank you and keep up your good services KPJ Damansara?

β β β β β Admitted my dad to kpj Damansara due to good recommendation from relatives and they live up with my family's expectation Thank you Dr effa for your treatment and help on my dad. Surgical ward nurses also do a very good service in terms of taking care of my dad and very patient with him and kudos to you all. The only downside is the slow discharge process on weekend. Will recommend this hospital to people.

β β β β β Been using this hospital services since mid-90s, it held many fond & bitter memories for me. 2 of my children were born and 2 family members died there. Used to be very happy with the services generally but of late, I observed quite a huge decline, particularly in waiting time. Waiting time to see the specialist of choice is one thing (can range between 1 hour to 2.5 hours) but in my last 2 visits, I've had to wait almost an hour (55 minutes to be exact) for my medicines. In short, one might have to spend half a day there for a visit to the Dr. Not sure about you but for the price we pay, I do not think this is acceptable at all.

β β β β β Followed up for my third pregnancy with Dr Imelda Balchin. The service and care provided were outstanding. The appointments were managed efficiently by the friendly clinic assistant, Ms Afiqah. Dr Imelda made sure her patient understand all options & risk involved. She gave a thorough explanation for each of the option and counselled accordingly. The delivery process was smooth, she handled unexpected situation very professionally. The hospital room was clean and comfortable. All nursing staff are so helpful and competent. All in all, a very pleasant experience of maternity care in this hospital.

β β β β β My mom was diagnosed with T2/T3 of bladder cancer. It was October 2021 and the protocol for international border is at the strictest moment. We're from Indonesia and the COVID case of both countries were a lot. So, there are certain things that we need to pay attention of. Through a thorough research, we found KPJ Damansara. Then we contacted Khalifa from KPJ Damansara, who was super helpful and attentive.
We found out about the doctor through her, and also did tele-consultation to let the doctor see my mom's condition. We got the fastest response from them, compared to other hospitals we contacted. Khalifa also helped us to arrange everything, from pre-arrival until post-operation. She helped us with all the visa application in the immigration. Mind you, that time it was difficult to get one, since the queue and also steps are a lot more complex due to COVID. My mom stayed in the hospital for a month, and she visited often to check on her.
The service in the hospital was top-notch and fast. I also think for time like this where family will need to act fast, this kind of service is paramount. All the nurses from Oncology department are also careful, friendly, and care about the patient.
This hospital is recommended and I couldn't give lesser than 5 stars for everything.
