β β β β β We were rather disappointed because of security issues. The rooms did not have proper windows that could be shut. There were only blinds and railing. So strangers could actually enter our rooms at anytime

β β β β β An amazing place with the perfect blend of modern amenities (full service kitchen, wifi, AC) and the experience of living in a primary jungle. For us city folk from the bustling SF Bay Area who love nature, this was the perfect vacation. Be sure to take hikes, whether on the roads or to the waterfall. The ostrich farm nearby is a hoot too. You will have to drive out of the jungle to grab food but there are some good eateries out there. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking to recharge and get back to work with renewed energy and focus.

β β β β β It's a relatively remote place, although only an hour from KL. We loved the jungle and house.. It's completely open, never seen that before. The front of the house has no wall, just a balcony. The nearest shop (a big one!) is only 20 min away (zemart). The kids loved it here and we did too. It's super relaxing and very well sorted kitchen.

β β β β β Beautiful place. Really serene and peaceful. The sound of crickets and nature really helped us sleep well. Breakfast was great as well. Overall a really nice place to chill. The kitchen was really equipped too for us to make our own dinner.

β β β β β The view was of course fantastic. You're surrounded by a bunch of other resorts actually but u still feel pretty isolated. Although there was not much security per se, i still felt pretty safe. Place was clean. We took the hornbill terrace. 2 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms. The outer bathroom had problems with the heater but unfortunately the management couldn't correct it immediately as the electrician was quite some ways away. I could understand that a little as we are pretty isolated. No oil was provided as shown on the website. Apparently they didn't update that part of the website. Only salt, sugar and cooking utensils given.
On the 2nd nite we ran out of gas to cook but they sent a back up within 10 mins so wasn't too bad.
The pool is smaller than u imagined and it's only about 3.5 -4 feet. Good enough to splash about it but no serious competitive swimming for sure.
The nearby trekking/waterfall was not accessible due to a recent landslide.
Overall we had fun. And I wouldn't mind going again. But maybe I'll try a different room.
Management was friendly and helpful. They pretty much leave u alone to enjoy your space unless u call for them. No onsite concierge tho so u have to call n give them time to get back to you.

β β β β β The location is really great offering a very nice view over the forest. The place is confortable with rooms opened to the outside. It could be the perfect place with a better service.
However we were very disappointed when we arrived as the rooms were very different from the description and from the pictures shown on the website and we still don't know if there was a problem with our booking. We booked for 5 and when we arrived one bed was missing! Maintenance needs to be improved as a lot of small things are not working properly and housework especially in the kitchen is not at the level of the accomodation. Communication in English with the staff is also very difficult and we had no number to contact them during our stay.
A lot of small problems, some of them have been solved by the staff but globally this accomodation didn't meet our expectations considering what we paid for it.
