There was 1 chair in our dining area that really represents the restaurant's name.....a Maharaj seat. The staff was really attentive and very caring. He checked with us on our needs and served with full care. Car park is limited and very tight. Ok, coming to the food, the non veg items were quite authentic. The vegetarian items were equally good. I enjoyed both. Ending everything with Tea made the dinner really worthwhile.....The staff's name is Prakash. Thanks Prakash

Everything is Ok here except the food taste which should be a most important priority for any restaurant. Staff is very good, parking very convenient, ambiance is Ok but nothing extraordinary. Restaurant theme gives you a bit of Indian Maharajahs vibes rather than modernization. Personally I donโ€™t like the food here, quantity is sufficient but taste is no where near to the North Indian cuisines. Infact the taste of Reshmi Kebab was at another level. The price doesnโ€™t justify the taste of food they offered. You can have much better food at same price in many other Indian restaurants in KL. We went on Friday around 2pm and there was a pin drop silence, only one customer other than us. Not recommended from my side.

Food was dreadful. My family and I first had Maharaj in Ipoh, the food and service was beyond our expectations, this was reflected on my Google review for them. I have confirmed this with the employee and this branch is indeed under Maharaj Ipoh. Firstly, the food was a real disappointment. All of the dishes are very sweet and have little to no spice. The garlic naan was hard and thin. The biryanis were bland and all the dishes did not come with any side dishes, e.g curries etc. We did order chicken chettinad and gobi manchurian. The chicken barely had any meat (mostly big pieces of bones) and the gravy had no taste. The gobi manchurian was extremely sweet and the essence of how it should have tasted was lost with us. I also ordered ginger tea for myself and was expecting it to be made inhouse but they served me a packet of teh halia. Secondly, the place is not well kept, you can see a build up of dirt and dust on the ceilings lights, air conditioners, etc. Not a pleasant view when you decide to have a meal. Thirdly, the price is way too for quality of food you are getting and honestly, even if the food was priced similar to a mamak restaurant, I would still choose not to eat here. I will NOT recommend this place, it certainly does not live up to the Maharaj brand.

My family and I celebrated our dadโ€™s birthday here to night. We were guided in our menu choices and room selection by owners Ilan and Mary and were served with great professionalism by their manager Prakash and his capable team who catered to our many โ€˜out of the wayโ€™ little requests which went a long way to making our night perfect! Tasty food, good ambience and excellent service ? Dr. Shyamala

Overpriced. Food portion very small quantity. Not tasty. Won't recommend this place. But staff were friendly, and that's the only thing that is good about this restaurant.

I like this place. Its unassuming, clean and the staff attentive. The food is of the flavourful and filling variety, and they have lots of solid choices. The latest addition of Indian cuisine from South Africa has got to be the highlight of 2021, I can't wait to see what else they have in store for my next visit. Among the other things to try, on my to eat list is the Bunny Chow and their Mutton Samosa. I'm not gonna waste words when you can just look at my pix and salivate, lol.
