★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can learn Malacca history. It’s big museum and their display is nice. That would be great if descriptions on the panel are bigger. It’s not comfortable to read small letters.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located at Red Square. The museum is built by Dutch. In the past it was the adminstrative centre. A fine Dutch architecture of that period. Inside the museum it explained the history of the town under previously occupation of Portuguese, Dutch, British and Japanese. Lots of info and photos to be taken by visitors. A real eye opener. I'm unable to finish viewing even after 2 hours. Shall return again someday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a nice place to visit and learn about Melaka's history at least once in your lifetime. Full of information in the museum and also the replicas stuff that they have where you can hold the object for a bit. Great place for kids to visit and learn its history. ?

I really wouldn't make a special trip to Melaka just to see this museum but if you're already here, this museum is worth your time. 10:30am and 2:30pm free English tours. Gives you history of Melaka from the founding through the various colonizers. You get access to a lot of other museums with your ticket so you could spend half a day seeing everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ RM6 is worthy! Wouldn't recommend bringing children and elderly here.. The entrance fee includes more than just one museum, so it's very worthy. There's a lot of artifacts to see and painting to admired. Just take your time and indulge yourself with the history! Some places required you to take off your shoes though.

This museum is a little bit pricey for foreigner student like me ? also the aircon not available in every corner so its really really hot inside the building. But you can study Malaysian history here especially in Malaka. Definetely will back ✨

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very valuable museum, only 20RM can visit 5 museums. Many parts here, history, Zheng He, music, education, and different stages of Malaysia's history. However, the planning and location of the different museums are very massive. You can't find any map or institution to tell you how to go to the next museum.
