The whole area is beautiful. The world heritage city Malakka and this Museum is close to quey where one can take boat ride. The museum was closed when i visit, hence it is better to go before 3 PM to this place. If you plan to visit Malakka, go in the afternoon to return late night. After you visit over 10 museums you can enjoy lightings and lots of street music played to diffrent groups. They usually turnup by 7 in the eve.

Well maintained but half of the site open air, please avoid to go rainy day. Need to take off shoes when go inside the ship. For people with disabilities, may not suitable to go as many stairs to pass.

Its one of iconic ship museum in Malacca city where visitors can learn about maritime history during Golden Age and Fall of Malacca state. Entry Fee is RM6 for local Malaysian with ID. Its a great place to bring childrens to let them learn and feel inside the ship. Many articles and artifact can be seen here from Portugese and Netherland invasion of Malacca. I wonder those statues inside the ship moving during the night? ??

Great collection of ships and artifact. The ship has 3 levels. You enter on the second level which combines with the 1st floor through a spiral stairs. This part contains most of the attractions. On the 3rd floor is the captains cabin. Out side of the ship under the stairs there is a shop which sells miniature replicas of ships ranging from rm 30 up to thousand. Further down there is an indoor muzium complex. There are ample parking opposite the road. Good place to bring your kids
