Malangnya, muzium ini sedikit bosan kerana maklumat yang tidak terlalu banyak dan tidak mempunyai staf yang menjaga kaunter informasi This museum is an interesting museum to visit and get to know the democratic system in Malaysia. Unfortunately, the museum is a little bored due to not having too much information and not having the staff in charge of the information counter

S	Shafie Shahar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Democratic Governance Museum, located in the Melaka State Legislative Assembly building, has been completed by His Majesty Tun Haji Abdul Malek bin Yusof S.M.N, D.M.K., Governor of Malacca State on 31 August 1961. It is the venue for the Conference of Members of the State Legislative Assembly of Melaka and the State Budget Presentation. The State Legislative Assembly is chaired by a Speaker elected from among the Council Members himself. For Council Members, they are elected through elections and will be members of the House for five years (unless the State Legislative Assembly is disbanded). Members of the House are also restricted to those aged 21 and above and residing in the State of Melaka. In February 2000, the State Legislative Assembly was no longer used after the government built a centralized administrative and administrative building in Ayer Keroh including the State Legislative Assembly. Now, this building has been used as a Museum of Democracy Government which showcases government information including democracy in Malaysia. It also illustrated the lines of Malaya's early history of achieving independence up to the brilliant successes that the country achieved in its government system. With this museum, it is expected to provide an understanding of the form of government implemented in Malaysia and its state system.

m	macedonboy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited in Feb. The Democratic Government Museum is a museum in the Stadthuys Museums Complex and housed in the former Malacca State Legislative Assembly building. The museum is dedicated to the history of democracy in Malaysia from the formation of the country up to the present day including all the results of the elections and a mockup of a polling station. The ground floor of the building has exhibits on government before colonial times, different forms of governments and the heads of state of Malacca i.e. the Sultans. The exhibits are all good quality and the descriptions are well written. The museum is dedicated to a very specialist subject and I found it informative, though not all that entertaining. It felt like reading an encyclopedic entry rather than anything written with real passion. I suspect it would be more enjoyable for a political scientist or the locals.
