Best tomyam in kuchai. No base price. Steady price, comfy place and friendly staff. Beside Tom yam noodle, Thier pork bone soup not bad too .

Both me and my husband got food poisoning that night after the Tom yum soup meal. Husband had diarrhea that went away after a day. Unfortunately mine did not, i had chills whole night, fever, vomitting and diarrhea. Believe me, it’s so much worse when you are feeling all of it at once.
I was sent to the hospital at mid night, and following day I still had diarrhea every 2-3 hours. Dr suspects the food poisoning had cause stomach infection /gut infection.
The soup and food was obviously not fresh and just ‘off’. I’ve tried this many times in Penang and not once I had this issue.
Writing this review hoping other customers will be wary and will not face the same issue as I am facing.
Hope the shop will make sure the food is fresh and the soup base is not cooked overnight etc.

I written a review here so you could investigate all there is needed to. My comment apparently isn’t the first here showing up as your food isn’t fresh.
Yet, time again, another customer like myself had to face this unbearable pain of food poisoning and worse.
I had to spend few hundred over the hospital, another few hundred for covid check cause thats the SOP, and another few hundred for the medications.
I strongly feel you need to do more then just saying you’ll investigate the matter. I wonder when other reviews here said the food wasn’t fresh, were there any actions taken?
A meal that is already quite pricey for the little vege and meat we get, yet another near 1k for recovery is not worth it at all! As of today, I’m still not fully recovered. Thanks to your shop.
