Pleasantly surprised. This being in a tourist hotspot, wasn't actually expecting all that much, but it was just as good as nyonya restaurants we've been to outside the tourist areas of Georgetown and Malacca, if also about twice as expensive (partly of course since we're in the centre of KL). Beef rendang was the perfect amount of spicy for me, though that's of course subjective, and was my favourite of the bunch, with the kaffir lime leaves cutting through the richness perfectly. The nasi lemak came with a good chicken curry, which was a nice bonus. The squid had a tasty, if perhaps too mild, sauce. Only dish I wouldn't order again was the 'top hat' one; apart from the sauce the flavour fell flat. We arrived 20:45 on a Saturday and the place was mostly empty. Good service.

A great favourite of mine for it's beautifully cooked Nyonya dishes. Owned by the same person as Old China Caffè, the background music is the same and dates back to 1952 Shanghai. Nicely furnished, this is a popular restaurant so need to go early, opens at 11.30am and I was first in today. Cook variety of dishes and reasonably priced.

oh my oh my! almost the best Maylasian restaurant I have visited the past 3 days! Yesterday’s Madam Kuan in KLCC and this one is hard to tell apart which one is the best but both are really really good! I would recommend to all of you! Beef ren dang and those that are on the pictures are all good and you can try on! it is located in 2nd floor of the Central Market.

Authentic nyonya restaurant and bar, serving mostly dinner like dishes. Which suitable for a group of people for function or special day treat. They still have single person meal but the variety is little. The price is high as here is a cozy restaurant and bar. Yes, they do serve beers. As for the taste, is nice. Tried the omelette with coconut rice, both not oily even im eating 3-4 person portion of the omelette. Given you the home cook taste with some classy feel. The coconut rice is the famous nyonya style with blue color given a nice fragrant for the rice. The rice is just right in terms of the stickiness but not too dry. However, a bit disappointed with its bubur cha cha as the sweet potato used is thick and crunchy, while i prefer soft. Besides, hope they served it hot as written in the menu. But still tasty. For your information, they only served nyonya food, which no pork, and more to spicy kind of Malaysian Chinese flavour.

Great environment, satisfying food. The rice was too soft, but the flavours from the dishes were good. The prawns was definitely the best dish. The dessert was... Not great though. The durian was yummy but the bubur cha-cha's yam was a bit hard and... The soup wasn't much and diluted.

Great place great restaurant. The environment is great and it's comfortable to hang out and chill with friends. The foods here are great. But a little bit greasy and oily. Libations are great and freshening. The service here was nice. Staffs are friendly but lack of experience. Price is average. Not too expensive not too cheap. Other than that, it's nice. Restaurant has reopened on April 2nd. Opening hours are from 11am-7pm, Wednesday to Sunday for the time being. Closed on Monday and Tuesday. Central Market KL is undergoing a revamp. Currently, Precious Old China restaurant offers a limited menu with one-dish meals. Only place in Central Market KL where you can enjoy a cold beer on a hot day. The popular Peranakan snack or starter Pie Tee or Top Hat is available.

A popular and famous restaurant for traditional Nyonya food. Food is delicious and service is fast. The curry sauce is not very heavy and can eat either on its own or with the coconut rice. The owner is very friendly and attentive. Good dining experience. Price is slightly above average but worth a try.
