โ โ โ โ โ Just wanted to get a pen to fill in details to bank in a cheque, but the staff/ security guard told me "Tak ada. Tak ada." Even after asking again very nicely, and pointing to a pen right on the table, he just shut the door on my face. Making me think twice using Public Bank.

โ โ โ โ โ 1st July came at 3pm told me they're shut at 2pm, but both website and google shows 4pm. No update of FMCO business hours in both website and google. Updated business hours just by sticking a A4 notice on your entrance. What era are you guys living in?
Wanted to settle public mutual issues online but the website came with a www2 URL, and registered public mutual online but need to wait for it to be mailed to my address? PMO website itself comes with plenty of bugs and errors. I don't understand why they want to separate public mutual and bank, meaning to say if you go to any public bank, they don't have access to your public mutual account details. You can only go to public mutual offices. How inconvenient is that?
Good thing I've decided to close my account with public bank. Extremely outdated ways of doing business. Public mutual funds performance is bad, with high charges. If anyone looking into investment, I recommend Kenanga and Stashaway.

โ โ โ โ โ TERRIBLE AND BAD SERVICE FROM THE STAFF from the Uptown Public Bank branch on 25th June 2018.
Today, I intended to open a Fixed Deposit account but due to the inefficiency, lack of knowledge and rudeness from both your bank staff and security guard, AN HOUR OF MY TIME WAS WASTED.
Reason why I am totally and utterly disappointed:
1) I followed the instructions from the machine and pressed "D" as the Chinese copy mentioned ๅฎๆๅญๆฌพ
2) I waited for 20 minutes and when my turn came, the bank teller told me that I had pressed the wrong letter and should have pressed "A" instead
3) I then went back to the machine and pressed the letter "A"
4) I waited for another 30 minutes and hereโs the BEST part. Lo and behold, when my turn came; another bank teller told me that I HAD PRESSED THE WRONG LETTER AND IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN "B"!
5) When I tried to explain the situation to him, he simply brushed me aside and gave me a new number AGAIN.
So why do you employ staff who do not want to help in the SIMPLEST of tasks?
How on earth am I going to TRUST Public Bank and allow them to invest with my hard earned money when your staff do not even know the simplest and the most basic procedures of assisting a customer in opening a Fixed Deposit account?!?!?!?!
Therefore, I am bringing my business to another bank where at least, the staff can provide correct information and hopefully, be less rude (fingers crossed).
Keep up with the great service Public Bank, your inefficient staff and service has now been made Public too.

โ โ โ โ โ This branch is just disappointing as both cheque deposit machines are malfunction. I had to pay so many branches a visit and it turned out all their cheque deposit machines ran out of service.

โ โ โ โ โ I usually walk in to the branch and find the service ok. Corner lot and highly visible place. Public Bank takes up the entire lot from ground to top floor. Plenty of ATMs which are in working order.

โ โ โ โ โ The place is at a corner lot ..same row as OCBC bank...very big space n clean..the ATM room also big with a lot of machines...good job...the Csr..cik Hani is very helpful n nice...the counter is a lot...the staff very friendly ..n the Officer...Cik Sharifah is superb..very good n knowledgeable...very good advice from her ...but the Bsm i find a bit lazy to come out n meet customer...i wonder why PBB Bsm always lazy like DJA..KJA...TTDI...is it a trend in PBB...the management need to check ..its very sad ??????

โ โ โ โ โ I visited the Damansara Uptown branch to enquire about the FD interest campaign. I spoke to two bank staff and they gave me the wrong information on the FD placement regarding the FD interest promotion campaign. I am surprised to say the least that bank employees tasked to serve customers are not trained to do their job properly.
