β β β β β My friend and I got their RM170/person tasting menu which came with an appetizer, main, and dessert so we got to try 6 different things!
2Oxβs sauces + fresh ingredients = amazing scallops and duck leg dishes! These were the only standouts from our meal. Foie gras terrine is always good - itβs hard to mess that up. I actually didnβt like their lobster ravioli - tasted more like dumplings. I prefer a thicker more doughy texture when I think of ravioli not the thin slimy skin of dumplings. For dessert, the passion fruit soufflΓ© was underdone so too wet and the lava cake is very small lol, like too tiny but still delicious.
For the price, Iβd have higher expectations for the food. Great service though.

β β β β β My friend had their lobster ravioli, which was excellent. While I had the best duck confit yet, so crispy on the outside yet so tender on the inside. Not forgetting so flavourful! They also served the best creme brΓ»lΓ©e Iβve ever tasted. They waiters were so attentive towards us and both indoor and outdoor ambiance are perfect for romantic dates!

β β β β β Nice French style restaurant that serves good French food such as pasta, pizza, and appetizer. Portion is rather small and price is a little pricey. Staffs were kind and polite. Environment is nice and relaxing...

β β β β β Good ambience and courteous service. Decent wine service (although a slight problem with one of the wine glasses). Food presentation and taste was good. Two of the starters were slightly on the sweet side. The ribeye steak was however cut too thin. Other dishes were good. The various desserts were excellent.

β β β β β Amazing foie gras terrine on toasted brioche! The seabream main course was lovely. The chocolate dessert and cheese platter was yums!! In fact, all the starters were divine as well. 10/10. We'll definitely be back

β β β β β Went to Dominic on 5 Dec with my wife it was a lovely Saturday evening. We sat down a decided to order a 5 course meal for the winter and seafood course. There were choices but the waitress actually took the liberty to decide the options for us as both the menu are almost identical except for the main course.
TLDR : food is average, the wait between course is too long, the staff doesn't explain the course when serving
So for the long version
Bread - Good, crispy and fluffy at the right place and it's warm
Amuse bouche - to be honest can't really taste anything and the bread/base that is use for this is soggy and the crab on it is pretty dull
1st course
Pate - good, with a slice of very well toasted bread. Nothing could go wrong. Pate was fatty and it wasn't too pungent (bizzare experience here. The wait staff came up to me with 3 bowls of salt and didn't really explained to me what were they and asked me what do I want for the pate?. I was blanked and I have to asked the staff to explain what were they)
Tuna noodles? - good, the tuna flavour was overwhelmed by the vinaigrette taste. Although the pickled radish was a welcoming addition to the dish
2nd course
Hamachi I think? - average and frankly pretty boring. It's just fish and not even fantastic
Cream of cauliflower?- average, it's different because of the jelly in the middle of the soup. But frankly that jelly doesn't have any flavour and it doesn't add anything to the texture either
3rd course
Some fish - average, again it's a fish dish that is very average nothing to shout about
Scallops - bad, unfortunately for this course I was really having higher hopes for as fresh scallops usually have the sweetness and a very pleasant texture to it. This scallops was not it. Can't taste any of the scallops flavour. This one really fall flat
4th course
Wagyu beef - bad, I'm just going straight to the point here. The beef is chewy and doesn't carry any flavour. The truffle is tasteless. This is my far the worst course in the menu
Another scallops - bad, again same review as above there's nothing special and doesn't taste fresh
5th course
Pistachio ice cream dessert - good, this one is the best course for the night.
Cheese platter - average, it's cheese the selection is alright, there are 5 or 6 cheeses for you to choose 3 and the condiments that comes with it are also alright
Overall, I would give this place another try but not anytime soon. They need to improve on the interval between courses, 30 mins between courses is unacceptable and the wait staff needs to be able to explain the courses properly.
I do want to support local restaurant but there are so much to do

β β β β β Agreeable with the rest of the reviews -- overpriced and very ordinary euro (not entirely french) food.
My experience started off with a polite staff taking my reservation, and in the end asked for 80bux per pax to lock in the booking. So I said I would just walk in, but she mentioned it will be very busy on a Friday night. So I paid. The whole restaurant had 3 tables last Friday ...
The food was very average. The cauliflower soup was bland despite having one tiny sea urchin. The Foie gras terrine seemed to me like a normal pork terrine, I could barely taste the liver. The desserts were slightly better with a good balance of flavours and the beetroot refresher was surprisingly the star.
The food was tolerable until I found a sharp bone in the sea bream fillet. Totally unexpected (and unacceptable) for a high end french restaurant. I complained to the wait staff and nothing was done. She did not bother to let the chef know and no gesture was made to appease a disgruntled customer. They did message me on WhatsApp after I left to apologise and gave a lame excuse that the wait staff was busy and couldn't find time to let the chef know. Busy with only 3 tables that night? And clearly a sharp bone in a dish does not take priority over serving the other two tables. If this happened in France, the restaurant will be boycotted by the entire nation the very next day.
Some reviewers commented on the decor and ambience. I found the hard tiled plain white walls and flooring made for a very noisy night. Again with 3 tables.
Negative experience overall. Too pricey for the lackluster food. The honesty quotient is also dubious. Will not return.
