Clan Dim Sum Restaurant 大家城點心茶樓 at Seri Petaling is famed for their Chicken Nest Bun (Gai Woh Bao) which is a pillowy soft dough in a shape of a ‘nest’ stuffed with glutinous rice, chicken, chopped char siew, mushrooms and caramelized onions within. Nothing too fancy or reworked into disastrous fusion items, Clan Dim Sum emphasizes on freshness of the ingredients and no holds-barred dim sum. The glutinous rice within was moist from the sauce infused with the sweetness of the onions, and chunky bits of char siew. The soft dough in a shape of a nest was a fitting accompaniment to soak up the gravy and provided a pleasant contrast to the savoury fillings. Not to splash cold water/throw a blanket disapproval over the other dim sum here, as there were decent tries in the steamed and fried items. But then again, I fail to recall anything within the realm of an eye-opening experience like in the case of the Gai Woh Bao. Still miss the Lor Bak Gou (Pan fried radish cake), Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun and egg tarts from Ipoh. COUSINE: Chinese / Dim sum / Restaurant PRICE: RM11 - RM20 SIGNATURE DISHES: Fried Glutinous Rice, Gai Wo Bao, Xiao Long Bao

They are famous for their Gai Wuo Bao, which is partially Bao and partially Lo Mai Kai. The rest of the dim sum dishes are so-so, not the best nor the worst. Parking might be a problem as there is only limited space but they are open all day long, so you can almost come during the non-peak hours

We tried 11 items including their signature chicken bao, lo mai gai, chee cheong fun, some dim sum and fried items, nothing outstanding, in fact Chee cheong fun is lousy, even King Chinese tea is not the best. Service is the worst, staffs are not trained, 3 different persons acknowledged they have vegetarian items but never get back to us. We left with half-filled stomach RM66 for 4 people, no receipt given but we didn't ask for it. I won't come back. Foo Hing should open a branch in Sri Petaling.

Above average dimsum with good customer service ? Siew Mai, Chee cheong fun are good but you can skip the Har Kau ... prices are normal...and plenty of parking. Lor Mai Kai (RM 5) is delicious ? and worth a try.

Although their service is unfriendly and poor but still will come here for their dim sam as specially their signature 鸡窝包. Recent visit realize their food quality drop a lot in term of freshness and taste but the poor service quality still maintained. Think will not visit again in the future.

Nice place to looking for dim sum, not so expensive, Ji Wo Bao (鸡窝包)is a must-try food in here, a bit sweet if compared to 糯米鸡, but overall is worthy and nice ?
