Average food. Only the fried beancurd is tasty. The noodles soup is very salty.

Famous for the Hor Hee ( flat rice noodle soup with fish ball and fish cake and fish wan ton ) Their operating hours is from 12am to 8pm. They don't have much seat . If come for dinner, you may have to wait for long. However, if you opt for Tapao ( take away) , you don't have to queue. They are serious on checking My Sejahtera. Need not try to sneak in if yours is not green.

Pretty good stuff. Noodle a bit tasteless but the items were great. Lots of different choices and quite appropriately priced. The highlight was the fried bean curd. You could take away an extra pack for rm6 per pack. Not too cheap but it was really good. One of the best I've had.

A decent Ipoh Chinese noodle with fish cake and fish balls. On top of that, the fish cracker is crispy. One of the favourite food premises among the local people.

One of the best horhee in Ipoh. The fishball are so bouncy and the tofu soft as silk. The kueyteow is very yummy as well. Perfect pairing of the fishballs with the chilli sauce

A decent place to get some wholesome "hor hee" ... a dish made famous by the teochew clan, where one can have a bowl of kuey teow soup accompanied by nice bouncy fishball, slices of fish cake, and the signature fish meat dumpling. If you notice, we used the word "wholesome" as it was really wholesome. The fishball, fish cake and even the fishmeat dumpling and the noodles were all authentic. The soup base is mild. So what is wrong? Actually nothing is wrong if you like what we have described but what is served at Li Heng Fatt is the modified version. Everything is authentic other than the soup base. It lacks body (too mild) as the authentic soup base has a heavier taste and is accompanied with "tongue choy". Frankly, a real bowl of authentic "hor hee" is an acquired taste food due to the heavy soup base. Hence, we described Li Heng Fatt version as "wholesome hor hee", but not the authentic version. Very likely, Li Heng Fatt has modified the recipe to suit its customer base, who loves the fishball, fish cake and the fishmeat dumpling, but can't fully accept the authentic heavy soup base of a real hor hee. Verdict: Yes we will return if we just want to have the fishballs, fishcake and fishmeat dumpling. Reason being the stall that sells the real authentic hor hee moves around between Jalan Lahat (weekdays) and Hollywood kopitiam Canning Garden (weekends). It is always crowded and finishes quite early. So if can't catch the authentic one, Li Heng Fatt is a good alternative. (Disclaimer: have to reconfirm if the real authentic shop is still operating in Jalan Lahat and Canning Garden)
