But asam laksa price on menu was Rm5 then the uncle say RM 6
Fish meat was not even a 50sen big
Soup was normal sweet and sour

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived 730am, business already start. Variety of choices ranging from Ipoh chicken prawn koay teow, satay, curry mee, popiah, nasi lemak etc. White coffee taste good. Reasonable price and portion of food just nice, foods are delicious. Recommendate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Kopitiam is an institution in Ipoh most k own for its satay which includes internal organs and the Ipoh Hor Fun.
Located in Ipoh Old Town with a history dating back to 1891, the current structure was rebuilt twice with the last one in the 1950s after being damaged by fire.

We also ordered a bowl of mix yongtau-fu soup from next door restaurant. Nothing particular about it. The only nice about that bowl is the white springy fishball meat. The rest is just standard yongtau-fu where u can get elsewhere.
Slightly compact seating arrangements with marble tables old-school kopitiam layout. Crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s almost always crowded here, the chicken hor fun here used to slap, now it’s still good but just doesn’t hit as much as last time.
Overall 10/10 ipoh hawker vibes the food is good, not a satay fan but the satay here is?✨. The 月光河 is bomb according to my mum and the popiah is also not bad.
Ordered the 炖蛋 (jiggly egg pudding) to feel the ipoh vibes and it’s nice also (tastes v eggy)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is next to Plan B, was here many years ago! Very basic coffee shop, surprisingly, the char koey teow with duck egg is very tasty! With wok hei and taste close to the Penang ckt taste! Hor fun was excellent too(this store already very popular!) not too busy like the other shops with the hyped up internet review. Oh yes. One more thing. The custard egg is simply amazing! Soft yet firm, burnt caramel on top with molten sweet caramel overflowing it, it was indeed another surprise discovery! Will come back again!

The chicken soup noodles, fried and normal Chinese spring roll, cuttle fish water spinach with satay sauce. Don’t forget the caramel egg custard too
