★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went with my mum on a weekday morning, the place wasn't crowded at all but the service was really fast. The young man and his mum did everything. The beef noodles here is very authentic and mostly the locals come here for breakfast. I normally will come during normal days (not festive seasons or weekends) as old town itself will be packed and you can hardly find a parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ RM9.00 for a bowl of beef brisket and noodles in Ipoh is quite expensive. But the taste is original and yummy. The herbal tea (RM1.90) is very thick and only available in old town. Worth tasting it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best beef noodles I've ever had. The beef and tripe was perfectly cooked, tender and flavoursome! The soup was beefy, but tempered with a hint of orange peel and daikon. The dried horfun drizzled with lard and pork crackling perfectly compliments the soup! The lady boss and her son were really friendly too. Must try in Ipoh!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hearty bowl of beef noodle. The broth is not beefy enough but it has it's own unique flavor which is quite addictive (tangerine peel & radish). Beef brisket & tripe were very tender. Beef ball is so so, beef tendon ball not bad. Aunty is super friendly as well.
