★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must go to hotel, with comfort and luxury, I really enjoyed my trip with family and was amazed by cleanliness in the first place, very comfy mattress and shower arrangement was spectacular.
On top of that awesome breakfast unlike a lot of other places I have visited I can say royale chulan so far was one of the best places in terms of everything they have to offer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's deserves five stars save for the fact I thought it was an old charming hotel but was corrected that it's a teen-ager and still unconvinced. It smells like an old hotel room and that's charm you can't buy unlike the old world decor and glitter. The rooms are spacious but the service doesn't grow to fill the grand space. It just felt short handed and ill prepared for crowds when there was one. Food wise besides the excellent specialty restaurants they cater to the weary traveller with delectable local dishes rather than run of the mill servings. Overall just a nudge below par excellence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At this price point, there is nothing much to complain although the furnishing is a bit dated, the wall paper is tearing off despite this is a 5 star hotel. Location is superb. Room is spacious. Swimming pool is excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel overall good. The rooms looks clean but the furniture and environment looks old but still well kept. The hotel was connected to curve and Ikea which was really good to walk around easily.
Breakfst was not so great with very less choice of the food. Swimming pool not rundown, need improvement or ensure able to use the amenities around where not even towel was given. Kids activity was closed until further notice.
Help to improve.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms are cleaned and spacious with elegant furnishing. The bathroom is large with a separate toilet, sink and shower space. Pool was closed for maintenance during my stay (weekend after Raya holidays). Breakfast was not bad, though variety can see more improvement.
Location is excellent, near major malls and within walking distance to MRT Mutiara Damansara (Gate B).
The interior of this hotel is also nice in pristine white and elegant ornaments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent a night here, I was early and they allowed me to check in early if I paid RM100. The room for a day was RM200.. so for 5 hrs earlier, I thought it was really reasonable and it wasn't the room i booked...but as i was tired from a long haul flight fr UK to KL.. n I just wanted a bed, I paid for it. Room was OK, a bit tired, curtains were torn n bathroom wasn't the cleanest, mouldy in some places.. but as it was only a night, I didn't mind. Location was good as this was where I needed to be n also close to shopping malls..
Unfortunately, one of the reason I booked this was the pool n it was closed!
But I guess for Rm200/night, can't expect much..beds n pillows were comfy n they have HBO.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The water heater worked with absolute precision. Turn on the water to the medium temperature position, and immediately the water was at the right temperature.
I've been to other 5 star luxury hotels, but this is the first hotel I came across where the heater and shower flow works perfectly well.
Other than that, the service was great, staff was helpful and smiled, rooms were large and comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here a couple of times. Mostly because of other people's review. To me, the setting is nice but the colors of the hotel is quite dull. The breakfast and lunch buffet at the Coffee Shop is okay. I have tasted better buffets but theirs are okay. The beef wellington was good with the peppercorn sauce. Recently went there for a short course, most of the restaurant at the hotel is closed. The hotel seems more quiet than any usual hotels ive been to recently. I hope they can do something to cheer up the hotel.
