★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible source of gift inspiration. This chain has really grown up and today they have so many branches in the country. A huge selection of souvenirs and gifts for almost all occassions. Great to just come and pick up something last minute. Hasn't let me down yet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely ruined the mood to shop here. I'll summarise it as best as I can,
1. I was here Monday the 13/12/2021, 7.10pm.
2. Was stopped by the sales assistant from entering, she pointed at a sign outside the store saying that only maximum of 10 people allowed in the store at one time, which is understandable due to the pandemic.
3. There was already a small queue of people waiting in line to go in when I arrived.
4. Waited for abit and realised that besides the 2 sales assistance, there were only 2 customers shopping in the store.
5. Decided to try and catch the attention of one of the sales assistant who was busy chit chatting with the other sales assistant. Was promptly ignored.
6. Another customer joins the line and told us this has happened to her too. She waited 10 mins outside eventhough there wasn't even 10 people in the store at that time. She lost her patience and went somewhere else first.
7. Finally after a few customers chime in to get the attention of the sales assistant, they finally looked at us.
8. When asked why is it that they wouldn't allow us in when the sign says maximum 10 people but only 4 people were in the store, this is including the 2 sales person, the sales person replied it's because there are only 2 of them working at the moment and they can't take on more customers. Which as much as I want to sympathise, I really cannot. So you're going to limit it to 2 customers per time who are allowed to enter your store because you are short handed? There must be a more effective way then turning away your customers during the busiest month of the year for S&J because it is Christmas.
I was so disheartened I lost my mood to shop there.
