Very authentic n tasty beef kueh tiow noodles. Beef cook to perfection. Kueh tiow deeply fried with wok hey flavor. One of the best around KL. Hokkien Mee is tasty with lots of Chee Yau char. But I still prefer the beef kueh tiow. Not the cheapest, but decent serving size with lots of ingredients. Price to pay for original tasting food still cooked by original Chinese sifu. Worth a try.

i prefer this one than the so called 'original' one operated by the sister. taste is similar but parking is much easier. 2022 update - parking is much easier now as there is a piece of vacant land opposite this restaurant @ RM6. Place is busier than usual as the original Soo Kee is closed for good after MCO. Hokkien mee - very flavourful .. childhood taste ?? prawns are very fresh Wat tan hor (wife don’t eat beef) - bland, tasteless Beef noodles - not here not there .. no QC Braised duck Yee mee - nice but the Yee mee is over cooked. Place is spacious with terrazzo table, service is slow and food can be better. Removing a star for a so-so meal. Inconsistent to say the least. Total bill came up to be RM113. Not cheap but taste can be improved.

Great place for some traditional Cantonese cooking with a variety of dishes and noodles. Bring back nostalgic feeling and taste in the cooking.

They prepare the most flavourful big fresh water prawn sar mee in KL. Pricey but worth the splurge once a while for the aromatic gravy over crunchy fried noodle and succulent prawn. Generally not too impressed with the other dishes served here but will always come here for the famed dish that has made this place an institution in KL.

A very unique taste you can't find other places. Just a bite and you will know the chef's "Kong fu ichiban". The noodle price is reasonable, only the chicken wing a bit costly. Overall I feel quite satisfied.

Has been my favourite place for late lunch. If you want to avoid crowd during peak hours this place is good cause it doesn't close between lunch and dinner. Love dine to feel the old KL charm. Always good and friendly service. Clean and airy outdoor seating is a plus point.

Extremely expensive. Ordered a steam fish, a plate of Sang Har Mee (3 prawns), tofu, fried kway Teow, Kang kong and prawn paste chicken, total damage was >RM500! And yet the prawns was flaccid, not very fresh. The noodles had a very strong alkaline taste. Fish was okay, being smothered under a blanket of minced ginger. The dry fried kway teow (first time trying this dish) was a poor cross between Pad Thai and Char Kway Teow. All the other dishes tasted normal. Been eating here for so many years, starting with the original stall from 2003 until this off shoot started and I switched allegiance. Must say this outing was most disappointing.
