★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Around 6pm plus, almost everything was closed except curry noodle, Tang Hoon fishball soup, chicken mee/wan tan mee and Chinese cuisine. We chose Chinese cuisine. Not bad... ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sungai Ara kopitiam is one of local favourite hawker stall around that area. It is famous for Nasi Lemak but it wasn’t open on that day we visited (saturday around 10am). So I tried other food and this is what I thought about it:
1) char kuew tuew - not bad, juicy type 4/5
2) curry chu cheong fun - tasted very weird, they added sichuan pepper and very oily 1/5
3) kopi - not bad 3/5

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a regular customer for this coffee shop, especially morning. Bread and half-boiled eggs are nice! There’s a new stall for Sarawak Kolo Mee (at least 4 stars! - my preference?).

1) overall - hawker environment, limited parking, okay service, reasonable price offered by Sungai Ara Kopitiam
2) curry Chu cheong fun tasted yuck. Curry was cooked too oily with the mixture of mala spices, it was really unpleasant to have
3) fried kuey teow tasted average but it appeared to be too watery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This coffee shop served very delicious nasi lemak, recommended by the owner but we missed it. The hawker food not bad, the nasi kunyit cooked by the owner sold at RM8 is good, delicious (old Penang style), the kuih also tasty, home made by the kopitiam owner. Surprisingly can find it in Sungai Ara. Overall above average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small and cosy Kopitiam with some delicacy that you must come and try if living near here. One of the best Nasi Lemak in town with crispy yet tender fried chicken, side dishes also nice. Economy rice also nice with many choices. Chicken rice is great with friendly service. Drink have many choices like longan and milk tea. They also have dessert choices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cafe has some nice and delicious stalls. The most famous stall here is the pandan rice with curry chicken and fried chicken; the queue is always long. It's usually crowded in the morning during weekends.
Parking could be limited so be ready to park at the next street and walk over.
