Koay teow tng soup was wonderfully prepared. From pork liver, minced pork, fishball, fishcake, broth all were excellent. Generous in all ingredients at RM4.50. Also value for money. Not feeling thirsty even after finish last drop of soup. 4 stars
Night time hock kien char was strongly recommended. This stall was managed by a man since 1980 and very famous among locals. After chased away by loan shark around year 2000, his wife took charge but unfortunately she cannot achieve the standard of her missing husband. In my last try in nov2021, she already achieved her husband standard. Must try. Noodle was flavourful and sauce was out of this world. WOW. 5 stars

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here for super early breakfast at 7am and people was already bustling about in the food court and the nearby market. Quite hard to look for parking, either pay for RM3 for 2hrs in Deview hotel carpark or park quite a distance in the taman area.
Ordered char koay teow with extra prawns for RM6 which is quite cheap for Png price. CKT was nice too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Old world charm surrounds this market made famous by its assam laksa hawker, whose infamy included rumours of using old newspapers in the fish broth heard during my school days. In the late afternoon, few hawkers remain, dishing out the final remnants of chicken soup and fish balls to the straggling tourists. Beware the Cendol on the rocks, an awful bowl of melting ice scrags instead of ice shavings with the lame excuse of accomodating more santan milk. An experience best avoided on tour.
