★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always great to be able to get good herbal drinks on the go. But the choices aren't many and its filled with sugar water.
I find the quality of the quick serve herbal drinks are filled with sugar. And over the years, I find their recipe getting sweeter and sweeter. Or perhaps it's my sugaradar. I don't take much sugar water. So perhaps it hits me harder when I take a sip of sugar water herbal tea.
They don't even have a less sugar option for most of the drinks. There was only one sugar free option. Terrible options in our day and age.
The drive for franchise automation has led Tan Ngan Lo towards poor standards and boring outdated sugar filled offerings and it's living proof that they are not consumer focus. If boba tea can have different opinions of sugar, why not tan ngan lo?
You're better off buying the sachets so you can make your own herbal tea at home. Don't get me wrong, I've been drinking Tan Ngan Lo since I was a kid. But the quick serve options are terribly put together. Hope you can use this constructively and improve. I can't be the only one who thinks your drinks are too sweet

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Customer service as bad as can be. Old grumpy aunty just sits on the chair packing syrup for takeaway. Doesnt bother to entertain you and shouts from a distance what do U want. Reluctantly gets up to fulfil your order. Wont be visiting this place again. On one hand I do support employment for the aged but grumpy aunties are a big turn off
