Good and fast service. Ordered the pork chop and sambal tumis seabass with rice. Pork chop was okay, nothing great to shout about. The sambal tumis seabass was tasty. Overall the food is good, however its definitely on the pricey side. Would love to try the other variety on the menu. p/s: they only allow an hour and a half dine in.

Food : 4/5 Service: 3/5 (staff impolite) Come here very often just for the Portuguese tart. IMO, I always consume after it gets cold. Coz when it’s hot it’s very watery but both condition it tastes nice. It’s not the authentic traditional way of Portuguese tart but the tart layer is salty and which the egg part is runny and smooth, very good combination. Also it’s not very sweet. Best if u can avoid peak hours coz always full during lunch n dinner hrs. Service not good as staffs very pushy. They provide 1 staff always standing beside the tart section just to assist you to pay first and wait for the tart to be packed. There was a time the assistant staff not there and the chef inside was rude & very impatient. He even did hand gesture like I’m an idiot to not straight go to the counter for order ( I was actually waiting to confirm with my friends how many pcs to order) Today 2/10 mark second visit for dine in, their kitchen close only remain bakery session open. Staffs still continue being very rude, tired to explain it to customers. Might as well don’t open your whole restaurant then if u feel unwilling to work. BTW This whole starling mall got 3 places selling diff egg tarts but all of them are superb delicious : Kim kee - egg tart Red kettle - Portuguese tart Nandos - Portuguese tart

Long queues and the restaurant being full whenever we walked pass this restaurant brought us to visit on Christmas Day. Bad decision the moment we stepped in! 3 of the main Christmas dishes (Pork Knuckle, Pork Loin and Pork Sausages) that we had come for were not available, but the waiter had to return 3 times to tell us that each of our selections weren't available. Total of about 20mins wasted there! ? Settled on the Seafood Pot, Pork Ribs and Sangria from what's left on the Christmas menu. Thinking it would have been the last time that we would be told that an item was not available, the waiter returned about 10mins later and informed us that the Sangria was "out of stock" as well... ? Reluctantly, we chose the Iced Cinnamon Coffee from the Christmas menu to maintain the Christmas mood. Generous on the whip cream, the Iced Cinnamon Coffee was weak in coffee. Could hardly taste the cinnamon as well. It looked dull and miserable. The Seafood Pot was the first served. As a western dish, it tasted off -- there was a lingering odd-tasting tartness to it. As an Asian dish, it tasted off too; the establishment should have used coconut milk instead of cream. Seafood was overcooked to death, and the whole sausage that swam in the pot didn't in any way complement the (overcooked) seafood. ? About 15mins later -- yes, about 15mins later, the Pork Ribs arrived. Whatever Christmas spirit and joy was left dissipated after the first bite. The meat was dry (how could pork ribs be dry?), and the sauce was nothing more than a lacklustre BBQ sauce. The cous cous side tasted like an Asian fried rice. Only thing that tasted decently Christmassy for the entire meal was what we believed to be some kind of pineapple pickle. I'm usually more forgiving, but I think this would be the first and the last time that we would be stepping into Red Kettle, even though it could have been an isolated bad experience. ?

It'd been 3 years since I came here. Upon queueing up, was greeted by the staff behind the counter strongly and was immediately seated for 3 pax. Service was excellent and lively with staff always ready to answer. Never try the egg tart before.. Looks ordinary, but it's actually very nice, can say something like those in Macau. Ordered angel hair broth and egg benedict. The pork or meat portion was huge and tasty. But because both portion was meat, it gets too dry. Angel hair broth taste like ramen with chashu. The meat has the roast taste on it and its soft and tender. Latte was also good to my liking. Variety of customer here are for meet up and family brunch. Price wise is slightly above average 4/5 on the rating.

Their egg tarts are very good, super buttery crumbly crust. The custard is very creamy and sweet. It’s priced at RM4.7 per piece but had to pay extra 30 sen for takeaway packing which i felt was very uncalled for. The size is slightly bigger than other’s and pricier. The staff’s service should be more friendlier and welcoming as well.

Early dinner to avoid the crowd. 1st and foremost, we had to show our MySejahtera. What made it unbelievable is that we are given 90 minutes to order, eat, pay and leave. The place was crowded but not full at 5pm. There are still many tables and chairs left. We ordered Cabonara (taste wise just alright), Sambar Tumis Seabass with Rice (Delish and spicy), Cajun Pork Schrimp Burger (unique), Hainanese Chicken Chop (nothing special), Salad Salmon Sashimi (nothing special). Waiter ordered our drinks correctly. However, they delivered the wrong drinks. Tiramisu, I had better ones. Service wise was fast and alright. Price wise, is on the high side. Music was way too loud until we had to shout to each other. I won't bother coming back as I don't like to limit myself to gobble such expensive food in less than 60 minutes especially on a chillax weekend. Life is already very stressful. Why should I waste my hard earn money and time here? There are plenty of cafe or eateries especially in Damansara Uptown area, with better price, food and unlimitless time spent to chill.

My visits have always been pleasant and the Portuguese egg tart is to die for (hence the 5 stars review). Its their own take with a crumbly tart case compared to the traditional one. Coffee is decent while my main was quite delightful. Had their shakshuka with a well balanced spiciness with their toasted sourdough. Returned for another round and tried the pork dishes. Simply tasty.
