★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience at Timurbay by Seascape is fantastic. From the balcony of the room, you get a beautiful view of the sea. At 13th floor, it's pretty peaceful up there, far from the noisy crow
Oh and the swimming pool was crowded the two days I was there. I took a short dip as it was not really a relaxing experience. There were people swimming in cotton tshirts, heavy long pants. And I don't see anyone rinsing themselves before going in the pool after their visit to the beach. In my opinion, the property should be stricter ie only allow jersey type material if guests don't have proper swimwear.
The location is great in my opinion. The beach is nice and not too crowded. There's a cozy cafe at the beach just outside Timurbay gate. They serve pretty good iced kopi kampung and nasi lemak daun pisang.
The room is tastefully furnished and very clean. For your convenience, it even has a washing machine, microwave and fridge. No detergent provided so please bring your own. Maybe it's a good idea for Seascape to provide the correct type detergent just so that the washing machine doesn't break down when the wrong type of detergent is used. And if I have to suggest something, it would be a good idea if Seascape could prepare a set of broom and spade. This is useful especially after a trip to the beach.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay there and would definitely stay there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rather good condition place by the beach, sand at the beach is really fine and smooth. Comes with washing machine, kettle, aircond, heated shower with good pressure.
But,
Bear in mind it is NOT a hotel despite agoda says so, it is very crowded even on weekdays, the pool is huge and nicely designed but it is in the middle of all 3 blocks so you can imagine the noise echo-ING. Unit I stayed in was not that clean. Bed was not comfortable at all.
But for the price, not a bad deal hmm..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I made a quick reservations via Booking.com for my parents who was affected by recent flood in Kuantan. But on the day of the check in the flood subsided and they had to go home to clean everything. I wrote to Seascape management regarding this and made a plea to postpone my check in to another week. Thankfully they accepted the changes I made. It end up check in by me myself. There’s a few things to sort out before check in but Puan Su was very friendly and accomodating. I like the unit I got. It was clean and have basic ammenities. The bed and pillows was nicely firm and comfortable. and The view from the balcony was okay. The parking was quite troublesome to find for the first time but then you get used to it. The only downside is the shower water pressure. It was low even the heater unit has a pump. Generally I’m satisfied with my accomodation. Definitely will come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beach is polluted by rubbish from rivers nearby and isn't good for swimming in. The beach is used for ATVs so it is awful to spend time on. Pools are heavily used and not terribly clean. The place is busy and noisy from people with microphones yelling late at night. Building is full of wet people walking around in the hallways. A few places to eat nearby. If you're looking to go for a swim, leave the area for somewhere nicer. There are some weirdly narrow doorways.
