โ โ โ โ โ Settled passport renewal in 1 hour. Had renew thru online but failed for photo and fingerprint.Came on Sunday afternoon 2:45pm, done everything including passport collection at 3:45pm. Thumb up!

โ โ โ โ โ Immigration here is so late, its not good idea doing this branch, i come at 9 am and receive my passport at 5 pm. ( I apply online also for the passport ) super late , congested with people and waste of time even already applied online passport !

โ โ โ โ โ JPJ only open until 5pm. UTC suppose until 9pm. Also, for weird reason, can't perform B2 to Full B license conversion.
The nearest convenient car parking near Pacific entrance right now is RM6 per entry.

โ โ โ โ โ I came here for passport renewal, and the officer is friendly and efficient.
Please do your appointment online to avoid waiting, you can come without appointment but expect a long wait.
P.s. Rules and regulations change from time to time, always plan early.

โ โ โ โ โ My son managed to renew his passport this morning. Our experience here was great. Only took one and a half hour to complete the whole process. Arrived UTC at 7.00am, there was already long que. Finished at 9.25am. ???

โ โ โ โ โ Just a suggestion for PTPTN branch, I think you guys cn assign a staff to work during 1-2 pm, cz we have office workers visiting your branch during lunch time while they are working, I noticed other department in UTC do have skeleton staffs doing it but the PTPTN office is not following ... Please improve....

โ โ โ โ โ We were there at JPN office for the replacement of our NRICs. We got our new NRICs within 30mins!
Honestly, for the last 35 years of using various government agencies services in Penang, UTC by far is the most efficient and convenient to get your stuff done under one roof!
P/s: please make sure your old NRIC was cut in your presence to avoid unnecessary problems in the future.
Best place for parking would be Prangin Mall basement car park: cashless (TnG is required). Rm1 per hour weekdays. Alternatively park at open car park opposite KOMTAR Walk side lanes (Penang Smart Parking app required).
