★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Start using Utopia service since Sept 2019. Everything is good, helpful & friendly agent, affordable fee, fast service. I really appreciate when you guys replace my aircond with the new one, even I didn't ask for it. I only have 1 request for Utopia if this possible, decorate every room with wallpaper. Special thanks to Alvin and Amy who helped me when moving in. Utopia ROCK!! Keep up the good work!! Cheers!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very responsive and friendly at the beginning. However, they didn’t inform me anything about the room being rent out until I contacted them before the room viewing. Afterwards somehow the service became worse, probably because I only want to rent for a month and I am not their priority. Quite disappointing.

My friend rented from this agency and I got to know that they overcharged him and did not allow him to switch despite having availability. He consistently messaged to YUMNI, NAD and CUSTOMER SERVICE and no one attended to his requests. THEY ALL CARE ABOUT MONEY AND TREAT CLIENTS LIKE BEGGARS.
I have personally messaged them and they dragged me asking to wait for days and after 5 follow ups, they tell me the room is not available and ask me to take an RM900 room at RM1200.
Well, utopia team can just continue posting on tiktok and instagram as it looks like this is the main business now. The business plan they follow is: social media to target customers, then they get selective, they either do not respond after asking for your details or allocate a room which is nothing like pictures, and despite having valid reasons (LIKE THEIR MALFUNCTIONING AC IN A ROOM WHICH IS DIRECTLY EXPOSED TO SUNLIGHT), they will not care. CUSTOMER RETENTION is not a thing for them.
Please take it at your own risk and they do not treat customers well. Sometimes, they do so initially or else they do so after you have moved in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They didn’t mention the alternatives for payment. Staffs are young and need to learn more, not kinda syok sendiri. Made me wait for hours, only to tell she forgot her appointment with me and attended meeting. What about customer who pause work just to make way for the appointment? And did not say sorry afterwards ?
Daily free cleaning is misleading. janitor came every 2 days and sometimes up to 4 days. Trash bin filled and even got maggots by that time.
The worst they just like other capitalist landlords, they modified the unit so they can squeeze more small, uncomfortable room inside. 5 people sharing 1 toilet. The additional room has no AC or window, making it damn hot that one can feel temperature difference between outside room and inside. When tenant ask for improvement, utopia did not cater as if it not their problem even after many times. Nicer rooms are reserved for their own staffs thus making tenants have limited option to switch?

Facilities available are the cheapest possible.
Strong reason to believe many of the 5-star reviews are fake. (before 2021 Utopia review was 3 star then they removed their Google Review section, created a new one with a new name, followed by an influx of spam, fake 5 star review. This explains why you could never find reviews from multiple years ago. All "good, robotic 5-star review" were made around 2021)
Integrity of this capitalistic business is definitely questionable.
