★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was a frequent customer at this store for more than 10 years and have recommended many friends in the past to this shop (with great regret now!). Just yesterday I headed to the mid valley outlet to collect my pre order of a Hot Toys figure which I have pre ordered on the first day it was posted. Upon presenting my pre order slip, I was told off by the staff who insisted I was not in the list to collect as many have “called” in advance to book the item. Looks like XL Shop is more interested to sell to “friends and family” instead of following the pre order sequence? The staff did not even hesitate to raise their voice at me when I questioned this practice. If you’re reading this and can believe it, I was forced to walk out and drive home without the figure, when so much stock was standing there in the store!
Look, I know this is just a toy store. I’m not expecting 5 star level service from your socially inept staff or anything, but come on. The more I think about it the worse I feel, this is just unethical business practice and I’m very sure at this point I’m not the only customer treated that way. This experience has showed me the true colors and arrogance in your staff, maybe XL Shop needs to learn about customer loyalty, or maybe they just don’t care at all. As for me, this will be the last pre order from me to this store. Do not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I kept ask for when is my figures arrive, because I had already paid for it and it had overdue to arrive time. I know MCO will cost delay, I can wait longer but just inform me or reply my message la. Bad service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the one the first on-line hobby shop when Shopee and Lazada yet available in Malaysia, to now service is getting worse. They didn't realize that there are so many competitors out there can order all the premium Hobby brand like Hot Toys/ Three A, etc.. the pre-order still insist to ask people to pay full yet some times the delivery is not more premium as my latest experience on Three A Sound Wave order until today yet to receive! Very bad and disappointing! Wanted to ask for refund and order from Shopee which have readied stock !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad service from them.. I preordered a Good Smile Company with them and I MADE FULL PAYMENT and when the stock arrived they cut my stock. And it’s not it, they told me at first ‘THEY DONT HAVE CUT STOCK ISSUE’..
What a terrible service. Never ever again I’ll visit them again

I have been ordering a few Hottoys figures from them...they still treat you as stranger and don’t really build customer relationship.... bear in mind their price is not cheaper then other toy shops... we buy with emotional and value the customer service part.... Me and my gang decided to buy from other shops moving forward....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried buying a nendoroid from this store’s online shop, and waited so long for payment details. No email were sent out to me, even after 2 days so I decided to contact their customer service. No response at all. Then I proceeded to email them, and even contacted their fb page. Only for them to totally ignored you with “seen”. Huh, guess that’s it from me. It’s not like there is no other shops out there for nendoroids.

Their price is not the cheapest in the market but can say higher than other sellers!
