The driver was at Mont Kiara, a mere 5 minutes from my pickup point.
At 2pm the driver could not be contacted via phone or message.
at 3pm, he's riding around Aman Suria in PJ.
at 330pm I message the Facebook of Zepto - to receive a reply "they'll get in touch with the driver"
at 410pm someone calls me up from the Zepto headquarters - saying they can't reach the driver.
Sometimes that happens, for all we know something unfortunate happened.
I needed to send the document in the afternoon, and the ride from the pickup to Cyberjaya is around an hour - naturally, offices close at 5pm.
Saying he's coming now - to not be able to deliver it when he arrives at the destination- I asked, what's the point?
The guy on the phone proceeds to offer no solution, sighs on the phone, and blames me for not specifying the delivery time frame!
A simple - 'I'm sorry, can we schedule a pick up in the morning' or "We'll refund part of the ride" or something that isn't a miserable guy at the other end of the phone.
Garbage customer service, leads to a garbage company.
