Overall ambience is nice, room (we stayed at the chalet garden view) was ok. Food not so good, taste & presentation can be improved a lot. Beach is the winning point, lots of activities.

Unacceptable strong moldy smell for superior twin room, luckily we brought 2 bottles freshener n sanitiser which helps to reduce the bad odor. Dirty marble floor is sticky with hair from last visitor, we don't enjoy the stay and don't feel comfortable. I think they have refurbished toilet but it's small n quit dark with slight creepy feeling due to no window in toilet. Tables are dusty n black when we wipe with wet tissue. Chairs are stained too. One single bedsheet has black stain mark like stepped by shoes. Near curtain areas also accumulated dusts on floor, window. The sink with old design is outside of the room with some mold. They only give one card per room so it's inconvenient and u will not be able to leave the fan on when out (guess that's y the room smells moldy) lobby sofa also seems dirty n not well maintained. The management team needs to take priority on cleanliness n train up the standard of the cleaning team since they are not up to standard. Housekeeping man also not wearing mask when talking to us. Saw other customers complained at front desk too and heard some also requested to change room.Breakfast is just basic few dishes, good one just eggs. We wanted a enjoyable stay but ending up not satisfied. If comparing this with new perfect Swiss Belhotel (10/10)we stayed a day before, I would rate this 3/10. A lot more to improve as a resort

If you like beach, this is one of the affordable place and with a strategic location. Easy to find food and necessities along the big road. You can choose chalet or hotel room. Unfortunately for me, the chalets were fully booked. So we managed to get hotel rooms. The room ok, not that spacious but clean. 1 of the room have a fridge but none in the other room ( booked for 2 rooms). The reception very helpful but breakfast... just ok.

It is crucial to check the weather report before booking your stay. When it rains, there isn't anything to do and the hotel does not provide umbrellas. There were so many times we were stranded at the cafe or the beach bar and had to borrow from the staff to avoid getting wet. They do not provide toothbrushes (at least in the hotel block they don't) perhaps the chalets are better. The room looks outdated, torn wallpapers, sandy bedsheets. Satellite tv (We Breakfast was Malaysian, pretty good and staff were always very friendly.

Terrible. Nothing is good about this place except the clean sand. Nothing is well maintained. Bathroom is terrible. You will have a minipool if u shower in the room. We had a few bed bugs bites and my husband even had to seek treatment in the clinic. Breakfast choices are very limited. We didn't even bother to have the breakfast there and checked out first thing in the morning. Not recommended at all.

The rooms are in desperate need of repair and some overall basic maintenance. One of the rooms we rented had a broken shower and the other didn't have a functional AC until we complained and they sent someone immediately to clean the filter. Would not recommend overall but it is nice and on the beach.

Honest Review ? (April 2022) Lots of parking available. It’s a little far from kuantan city and have to go through narrow roads. (30 mins drive) Chalets also available if u prefer that. Check-In: Front desk is friendly and helpful. (Make sure you have cash RM100 for deposit which will be returned to you upon check-out) Standard twin room is the cheapest room you can book, which i thought was quite value for money as there’s breakfast included. But to my horror, the room we got was in very bad condition, the toilet was fine but the beds stained, no working power socket and dusty floor with lots of hair. Flimsy furniture, and no fridge. We made a complaint and luckily managed to get a replacement room, which was in a MUCH better state! (Thank u so much ?) Breakfast is 6/10 ⭐️ It needs more cereal options and served with cold milk not room temp ? Coco crunch only? ? Also there was omelette available cooked to order. Overall the stay was kinda worth it because of the private beach and swimming pool. The room just needs to be more cleaner. Still, I had fun and took some nice pics ?

This was quite possibly the worst holiday stay I have ever had with my family. If it was possible to give this place a half star rating, I would but unfortunately I have to settle with one. To start off, the service and staff were awful. From the get go, when we found that the chalet which we had booked for 2 nights (worth almost 900 ringgit) was smelly, dirty and covered in mould - we went to complain. The staff at the counter did not even look at us as we were complaining, eyes glued to her monitor instead with obvious disinterest in her face. Then we met the manager who then offered us a replacement room for our stay since the chalet was in such an intolerable state (I'll get into the details soon). The manager went on to explain that places like these are hard to maintain since there is so much rain and the chalets are mostly made of wood. If you lived in Malaysia for any amount of time, you would know that rain is common in every part of Malaysia, it is no excuse for why the chalets can't be maintained since the wood didn't even have shellac on it. The staff overall looked like they could care less about our complaints which reflects how neglected the whole place is. The chalet we had booked had extensive water damage which caused the mould to grow everywhere, smelled like smoke and some other indistinguishable odour, and smaller than expected. So then we changed to another room where there were questionable stains on both the walls and the bedsheets, a cockroach infested smelly bathroom, bird poop stained windows and making the decision to choose to stay in either the chalet or the rooms was like choosing bad or worse. Both options sucked. Additionally, when the manager was showing us the room options we could change to, the bathroom bidet broke and sprayed water everywhere. We requested for the bedsheets to be changed as well since it was stained and the staff mentioned that "all our bedsheets have stains"... definitely not what we want to hear. The breakfast was underwhelming as well with most of the food lacking in flavour and some possible off foods causing a family member to have stomach discomfort. The volleyball that was supposedly available for guests to use was stolen while their other beach ball deflated. Their furniture used for the waiting area at the main counter and the dining area all had concerning stains or had obvious wear and tear. At that point we were too scared to touch the swimming pool. The only upside was the beach next to the resort and the bar on the beach. The bar wasn't spectacular but shines in comparison to the other aspects of this "resort". Don't waste your money or time here, it is most definitely not worth it.
