A place where u can get all local foods! If you are too tired to search for famous place and queue for the famous food in Penang. You can stop by here to grab all the food! ??

Char Kueh Tiaw was great though we not sure whether duck egg can be used. The satay though was not recommended. Lack of taste and texture. The sauce also too watery. The foodstall has a lot of variety of food though.

Sin Kim San Restaurant (新金山): A corner restaurant located at junction of Macalister Road & Rangoon Road. Judging from the crowd of food-lovers here, you can deduce that this shop is the most popular eatery centre among others along a good stretch of Macalister Road. Being an outsider, our favourite place to savour Penang street food is Gurney Drive. Having recently discovered Sin Kim San restaurant and really trying out the food here, this has become our new Penang food paradise. At first experience, we absolutely like the loh bak, fried kway teow, oyster omelette, prawn mee, law mee, popiah, ... Because the food are served in small portions, it whets our appetitie even more. The hot almond tea served here is refreshing and nourishing. Outside the shop a vendor van is selling traditional bitter herbal tea. We gulp down a glass each to neutralise the oiliness of the food just taken. Watch your health when eating too much street food. Is there a wood fire pizza nearby? Would hunt for it the next time around.

Kwa teow th'ng soup with duck meat (4 RM) is good but the soup is not hot. Satay pork (4 RM) is delicious. Vegetable (10 RM) and fried oyster (12 RM) is bad taste because it's oily. Fried oyster is smell fishy & softly.

One of my favorite Kedai Kopi during my stay in Penang. You can find various type of street food, char kwetiauw, fried oyster, bakut teh, lor bak, satay and many more. The fried oyster is tasty, also the "ikan bakar" (grilled stingray fish). Kopi, juices and tea are also provided

Dishonest hokkien prawn mee stall using red bowl. Overcharged us for 3 small pieces of spare ribs that is more bones than meat. RM3 for what is in the photo. Having tasted more than 30+ stalls in Penang, they only charged me RM1 for same amount of spare ribs. Anyway it is in my bottom few ranking in terms of taste and texture, ingredients tasted bland (RM5 mee tasted better than this). Waste your money at your own risk.

A variety choice of Penang local foods available here! You can find famous Char kuey tiaw, wantan mee, satay, ikan bakar, apam balik, pouridge, Char kuey kap, Loh bak and more. The price is reasonable. There are open air seat or inside the seat. Be aware that if you sit inside the shop, the shop will request the customer to order at least one drink per table. So one Liang teh please! The ventilation is quite poor. But sweating after a hot meal sometime it make us feel syok! Make sure you don't bath before you come here for the meal. ;)

Lot of famous Penang delicacy stalls in this restaurant. Recommended dishes: grilled fish, oyster egg, loh mee, prawn mee and curry mee. But drinks are not up to expectations tho, very light taste, needs improvement.
