Aseania Beach Resort Pulau Besar

The best place to enjoy beach view..Quite small island with limited facilities..the resort is just walking distance from its jetty.. the island is about 30 minutes by speedboat from mersing jetty.. when i first arrive we are welcoming by resort staff and they help us carrying the luggage to the room..the hotel service is superbb..! The package 3d2N come together with breakfast lunch and dinner.. recommended to buy package! Because there is no convinient store, shop or stall to buy food.. There is no watersport like banana boat or jetski..You just have to sleep and eat while enjoying the beautiful beach and clear sea water..For those who like peacefull place or honeymoon..this is the place! ♥️♥️ thumbs up for this resort and its services..

Friendly staff, always available, good food, spacious and clean rooms, beautiful landscape. My only two suggestions would be a little refurbishing of the bathrooms (they look a little old) and to maybe join the other resorts and local residents to foster some campaign to clean the beach, especially the farthest one, where the big rocks are. Lots of plastic there, it makes me feel a little sad, it's really a beautiful place. Maybe also a little education for tourists and placing of signs wouldn't be too much, and believe me, they add A LOT of value to the experience.

Comments about outdated bathroom were very true. I caught a centipede in my bathroom. The bathroom was clean but it was very outdated. I'm not sure where the bathroom water comes from bcos it was green/yellow but it wasn't salty. You can't boiled water with it. You need to use mineral water. Mosquitoes and sand flies were normal but it's not the hotel's fault. It's part of nature, if you can't deal with it, don't stay in an island. There were 3 pools. Kids pool, jacuzzi and the largest was only for swimmers so be careful. No phone in the room so if there's anything, you have to walk to the receptionist. Quite annoying, far from the garden chalet. Btw, if you book seaview chalet, the view are blocked by trees, pathway and some other things so not worth it. Meals were all set except breakfast. We had a buffet breakfast. Meals were ok, the portion was also good. Ala-carte menu were also available. Restaurant and bar closed at 10.00pm. There were burger stall, groceries shop and a small restaurant for local food beside the resort. The only thing I truly hate about the resort is the strict policy. Non-refundable and non-modified. Check out is at 10.00am! At first, I booked 1 room for 3D2N but my friend couldn't make it. Due to their non-modified policy, I have to find another friend that could come. My friend has a family so I've to add another room for them. I could only add 1 night because the hotel were fully booked. The reservation lady didn't mind how many person in the room so I thought they could sleep in my room on the 2nd night because I'm staying alone. When I arrived at the jetty office to register, the lady also confirmed that they don't mind if my friend shared a room with us bcos the hotel was fully booked and as for the boat, they don't mind to add just one more person. We were confident we could stay for 2 nights so we went. Unfortunately when I asked the lady at the resort, she didn't allow it because the boat on the departure day were already full. Can't even add one more person onto the boat. We don't mind to pay the extra charges for the boat but she simply refused to do so. We could only stay for 1 night because I don't want to be left alone in an island. I just wish they could be more considerate.

This resort is essentially a time capsule, somehow preserved in this ever changing world. With white, sandy beaches and thick jungle, this resort has picturesque views, and okay wi-fi. Would suggest, if you like islands. Beware of sandflies and mosquitos though, so be prepared. If you hate both of those, make your way down to Pulau Rawa. The food is excellent and so is the bar and service. It has lots of water activities. Would definitely recommend, if you have the time.

Stunning place with clean beaches and amazing views. The staffs there are very friendly and are always willing to lend a helping hand. Was very satisfied with the food and the snorkeling experience as well. However, the rooms need more maintenance and a little bit of renovation. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay.

The best resort with perfect beach view! Very family friendly. Foods were good, friendly staffs. clean chalet and resort. Surely gonna come back! Plus point on the crsytal clear sea and white sandy beaches around the island! Super love!

The beach is amazing. Corals are all around. Some of the best corals we have seen compared to islands like Tioman and Redang. The food and board packages are very very reasonable. A great family resort but the building needs a freshen up and the toilets desperately need an upgrade. Mine was mouldy and the toilet WC couldn’t flush properly. AC in rooms were good and beds were nice and firm but the rooms could do a bit of refurbishment as the price full board was RM900 per night full board which is not considered very cheap.
