★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to stay, breakfast offers vast menu. Room service available as well and fast. Room cleaning need some improvement. Staff are friendly and welch. Parking space located far outside of the resort area but shuttle is provided. Valet parking also available with reasonable price. Buggy service available but expect some delay during check out hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reception: Long wait for room. Waited for 3 hours for room to be ready. Only got the keys at 7pm (that is only after we rushed the reception, if not could be longer)
Staff: Understaffed, got to wait for buggy rides. Better just walk but quite far. Can call for buggy when checkout. Staff were friendly
Housekeeping: Bad. Room was dusty and for 3 nights stay, the housekeeping only came ONCE. 1 Prayer mat were only provided for family villa
Restaurant: Really bad. The food was so bad at the seafood restaurant across the reception area not worth the price at all, expensive for the quality of food served. Mall food court is better. Breakfast buffet is ok but take time to refill. Dinner buffet was below expectations; limited choices, not that tasty, understaffed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went there last month, just have time to left a review. I would like to give a standing ovation to the staff who assist me during my stay. My child, 11-month-old was having a fever at 11.30 am. But the staff was helpful and on standby early with a buggy. When I reached the hotel at 12.30 am after went to a clinic, they were already on standby with a buggy at the lobby.. I am so thankful so that.
Just I would like to suggest to Avani to improve the refreshments. When it comes to food, we expect something 'Wow' from a 5-star hotel..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great weekend just chilling in the room with the family in the 2 bedroom villa. Check in and check out was easy. Front desk staff were cheerful and helpful. Restraunt staff were also helpful. My parents didn't leave the room the entire trip and were safe. Room service was also prompt. Very happy with the AC in the room. It has definitely been upgraded since our last visit. Will be returning soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed at family villa. Nice garden view on the sea, lots of facilities in the villa but somehow not maintained well. Bathroom pool leaked and it takes forever to fill up, end up calling maintenance guy to fix it. 2 shower heads not switching completely and caused water dripping. Glass windows look very dirty, isn't clear at all, quite disturbing when we try to enjoy the seaview from villa. Ceiling fan quite noisy at high speed. Other than that beds are comfort, a/c very cooling, staff are very friendly.
Would expect better maintenance for the room fee charged (3.9k on weekday)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very humble staff, hardworking, dedicated! Answered all queries immediately. Facilities are good although the pool can be cleaned more frequently. Breakfast buffet was excellent, choices of food available were of Continental, Chinese, Malay, Indian delicacies. The view was exquisite! So breathtaking! The 2-bedroom villa was so beautiful! Overall a relaxing exclusive, tranquil, tropical escapade!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in Room 024 which had a nice sea view. Book directly as you will get RM40 credit and 20% off food and spa. Overall the resort is a bit run down especially in the pool and main dining area but is expected because we just came out of the pandemic. If you are looking to relax in the nice hotel room with a cool sea breeze this is the spot to be. The staff are overall very friendly and help, would recommend to keep up the good efforts!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my partner came knowing this is a 5 star hotel. Our expectations were high quality experience with enough privacy, at least quality experience as price per room was Rm400+.
Other than the beautiful architecture and interior as pictures shown so beautifully, and the staff are friendly, there was nothing else that I could compliment.
The resort is very small, have very very limited space to hang around (very small pool + breakfast space & lobby). Yep that’s all we can do in a resort where the beach is not pleasing and nothing much to do outside of the resort at all. Breakfast buffet was the worst. Packed with people, flies were everywhere, ran out of plates and bowls and no waiter was willing to restock, no cutlery, the system and how they manage such beautiful hotel is devastating. I randomly had a chat with an Indian family sitting next to me during breakfast, all he did was complaining and questioning if this really is a 5 star hotel, how is this a 5 star hotel??
The swimming pool only has very limited space. We need to make booking to swim in the pool due to SOP, but no one told us the information until we were ready to swim at the pool. Pool water wasn’t clear, I gave up attempting to swim because the entire experience was uncomfortable, I felt disgusted.
I would say the information online branded this place way too much better than how it actually is. Please think twice before you come.
