Hotel is definitely dated and needs some refreshing. The room door system for 1104 is faulty. Every time I leave the room, I need to go to the reception to get the access card refreshed. It added to much inconvenience. Had told the reception coubter when i checked-out. Hope they do something about it. There was some leakage along the corridor along the right wing. A section of the carpet were soaking wet. A reception staff probably forgotten to bring her smile to work. Please remind her, as a Frontline staff, that is BASIC! No hotel guest wants to see a poker face as the first person they encounter at a business. The good point is location, having pubs within the same compound. This allows non local pub goers to be able enjoy a night of drinks, and having a safe place to rest the night. Lastly, for those who drive there. Do not park at the open air, as it is under a different operator and you will be charged (no hotel complimentary). Instead, park at the multi-storey carpark.

I believe the hotel was vacant for at least a couple of yrs due to covid. My room was not well kept..carpet not clean, curtain not properly hooked & a/c not cold despite I made a complaint. Since I hv to walk to parking area through ballroom's corridor, you can see patched carpets everywhere & ceiling are full of leakage stains everywhere too. The parking exit is behind the hotel where you can see no cleaning is made..ie driend leaves & spots of grasses are everywhere. I don't blame them for the issues since things were beyond their control but since the hari raya weekends was fully booked, they shud start investing in fixing, cleaning & upgrading where necessary. Soon the hotel wud be back to normal operation.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and ever existed. Poorly maintained, air conditioning not serviced, hygiene not up to standards, requests to housekeeping for new towels have failed for 2 days. The worst of all, all rooms here require a card to enter, but the card reader system malfunctioned, making me wait 30 minutes outside my room for the only technician working there to open my door manually. Highly inconvenient with hotel layout being poorly accessible to lift

Old building but with refurbished environment and affordable price. Nice hotel ambience and calm bcoz less peoples were around here at that time. Eating places was everywhere just nearby and in walk-in distance. Consider as secure place as there were police and immigration teams around at their checking stations most of the times.

Worst number 1 hotel in Johor Bahru. The room was extremely dirty and dusty! Sweet wrappers and used chopstick was found in the room from previous guests. Hotel is full of dirty stains and smelly odour. The bed was so dusty that it was extremely itchy to sleep. Pillow was very black and filled with saliva stains. I don’t recommend any of my fellow singaporean to stay there. This hotel is slum grade. If I can give zero stars I will!

If there is zero star, I will definitely give 0. Frontdesk service is poor, request non-smoking room, gives me a smoking room. Toilet is super dirty, ask housekeeping Service , waited for an hour and never come. Need to go down to ASK service again then finally change the room without any helpful assistance. Just give us a key to see the room by ourselves. Overall experience is very bad. Not worth even to give one star.

Great rooms as booked for 4 rooms with 1 suite is big as it is 2 superior become one and at top floor level 16. The bed is comfortable but furnitures are dated. Other complaint is parking block is far from hotel rooms where need a long walk about 10-15 minutes to get to rooms. Outdoor pool is clean but open from 9am-5pm only.

service here is terrible. phone service in the room does not work. there are alot of ants on the table, and the room did not provide the bathroom floor mat. i went down to the service reception to ask for a floor mat before i left to go out to eat for dinner, and they said they will provide me the floor mat. however when i came back to my room, there was no mat! and i went down again to ask for the mat and why they haven’t given me one, the person took in my order right there and then.. also there wasn’t any heater in the toilet because it’s not functioning and the receptionist did not tell us before hand. Last but not least, their rooms itself doesn’t seemed to be cleaned thoroughly and on the towels, bedsheets, there are many stains left behind. there was also a dead insect in my room. pleased be prepared if you would like to book this hotel. not recommended to book this hotel.
